All don't know anything about history at all.

Calvin first bought Bj Corp at only 12.5 cts in year 2006.

Then Bj Corp jumped to 55 cts in the bull run that time.

After Bj Corp retraced to 39 cts my Johor Sifu MG9231 joined us. After that Bj Corp retraced further to 26 cts and one more Johor Buddy from Segamat joined in. He bought 100,000 shares of Bj Corp for Rm26,000.

After buying Bj Corp rebounded to 36 cts & the Segamat guy sold for Rm10,000 profit. Alas he went to buy Patimas which later went kaput!

When Bj Corp touched 50 cts TSVT roped in Goldman Sacs & chased it all the way from 50 cts to Rm1.00

Ha! At Rm1.00 I already sold all my Bj Corp for almost 900% profit then. But my Johor Sifu MG9231 told me to buy back as TSVT will still push Bj Corp with Goldman.

So I bought back some at Rm1.05 (this I very seldom do). To my surprise Bj Corp SHOT PAST RM1.50 & MG9231 told us all Johor Buddies to sell all Bj Corp above Rm1.50

SO BJ CORP from 12.5 cts to Rm1.50 was more than 10 baggars! Or up 1,000%

Will Bj Corp go up to Rm1.00 again?

I had add some bjcorp due i look good on the prospect of lottery business at Vietnam.
Here is my assumption, i might be wrong.
Bjtoto market capital reach RM4 billion, it able to survice in competitive lottery in malaysia to share the market of 12 million people(60% of 30million citizens unable to buy lottery) with the other two big name: Kuda and Magnum.
Vietnam got 90 million people (100% citizens can buy lottery) and it is only computerised (now people lazy tend to go to quee at shop to buy lottery ).
Bjcorp stake in Vietlot should be worth RM12.24 billion (0.51x0.8 (stake at vietlot) x 90 /12 x 4 billion) in the future.

This share really an interesting stock. It has been on the downtrend for so many yrs from RM1.50. Their business are so diversify. I guess their main issue is that every year they need to pay back huge amount of loan interest. Whether they can generate enough profit to cover the interest, that would remain a concern for investor especially in economy slowdown. Having potential asset like bukit tinggi will not affect the share price now. Increase in the value of properties in bukit tinggi will mean nothing if they unlock the value in it. BJ did well in construction for previous few quarter. Again, economy is slowing down, would property biz able to sustain? I doubt that. So it will all down to their lottery biz now. Will need to see the performance in next or so quarterly report on the performance. If they can make a huge jump in their profit, we may see the raise of BJ again.

This year expected 4mil tourists from China, big increase from last year 2.7 mil.
BJC have many hotels n Resorts which will benefit from it.

@flyingkite is true that BJ has issued a lot more shares compared to last time. But is also fact that their biz have grown as well. Main issue whether they can manage the debts on better lvl. Whether they can have higher margin biz. Whether they can get higher profit. How much is the profit from the lottery biz in vietnam remain a question. Wait till they have the 1st quarter report then you will see where does BJ stand.

if you look closely, every segment of BCorp is already generating profits.
just that the high borrowings resulting an extreme amount of interest (~RM200m per quarter) is eating away a huge chunk of profits.
Or else BCorp would be a wonderful company!
