Phyroxus, agree but if we are keeping for the med to long term, this will give tremendous returns. From .28 sen to .70sen at least after Q4 2013 or q1 2014. again, look at the historic cycle of MAS over the last 3 decades, there will be a turnaround for sure (serously ,how low more can they go?) What is your take?
Possible, since basically OR is not suitable for trading,is only a conversion certificate that don't have any value at all. If really want to invest, still have to summit for right, don't burn your life saving gambling on OR.
Nope, buy the OR and summit for right issue the cost will be cheaper.Since, nobody can predict what is the open price for new mas,it is possible higher than the (MAS-OR + 0.23) price. This is only personal opinion, since no much company like to awards punter with great deal.
mas at .68 after ex-date, at .32-.34c.on May 2. by reaching at .45c should be .90c from before ex-date. after the all shares exercise then MAS will be the new share afloating.
somebody said why mother Mas still "people" trade in and out or put this way to saying "people" buying heavily mother share. I "think" due to mas-or may overwhelming / many hope to get the cheapest .23 price at exercise. I "think" all the mas-or maybe will not get what they wishes for.
That's possible but the new mas don't have expired date but the OR have. By the way,not much people familiar with TA,if really want to buy something valuable myself will prefer the New Mas.
the new mas share is now at your screen 0.365 dont have expired. OR if for you to exercise the rights of new MAS share at .23. after the May13th, all the exercise shares on the new MAS at presently you seen on your monitor.
I just understand what are those who bought MAS share at this point hoping for as the MAS-OR is so low. Obviously there is no reason to buy MAS instead of MAS-OR isn't it?
My personal experience to share a bit here: I bought some MAS stocks back in 2011@1.60, hoping that MAS could turnaround and soar as the press released good and positive outlook about this counter. However, the stock price kept sliding down, I cautiously peered at the target price from all sources: 0.90, so I quickly sold them @ 1.31 then. Now, i packed my little savings in a better counter and i am happy... stay away... don't get enctangled with croco..
MAS is owned by MOF (Govt of Malaysia) ...They wouldn't let a national carrier go to waste.....just imagine Airasia is making money,so can MAS if it were to buck up just a little and if the results turned black..there's no way you gonna get a price below RM1.00...so, invest NOW!........
luckily i did mention to my friends and clients dont touch when mas at 3.00 even and 2.00 below, i told them at 0.80c ..then many local analysts same as my view.
research may come as wrong but most of the time/ future depend on the growth of story from company. Some people may have different views that is alrights.
remembered last time when sapuracrest at 0.60 bought told people can reach 3.00 , also people laughing at me. when came to local house call target at 3.00-5.00. then i sold off all...how to say this for local investment house ?
i dont like oil stocks as i see the fall of oil price anytime can happen drastically. i prefer plantation, consumer, food, industrial,...not in property as well.
GLC has been an obsolete acroynm, no garantee... is proven. i bought MAS based on this belief- owned by the government, how can it go bust? kesihan,....mesti TOLONG...
wishing all you happy investing , many stocks i wont tell target price because i see many time local house calls very unprofessional towards companies performances and results.
i can't see any counter that can offer such a turn around possibility. Now entering into the high season for travel right till year end. The one world alliance network synergy is already starting to see increase in passengers and RPK because of the international travellers being able to book into MAS flights through one world. Even if dont buy OR to purchase shares, buy straight in and keep till 4q2013.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
