because this is important. let me illustrate my point for the "small players".

Suppose you have RM1500 in February 2013 (earlier this year) to invest? What to do? You also buy AEONCR. Also could buy MAS. But you want to make money really really badly. Let me show...

Suppose you use a broker like HLe-broking or Maybank (so brokerage is cheap)

In Feb, AeonCR - 10.68. so you buy 100 shares. Spend RM1068 + RM10 +RM1 etc...

Cost around RM1079 (still have around RM400 cash for beer money) .... Today AeonCR closed 16.72

Therefore Theoretical Gain = RM 1672 - RM1079 = RM593 (in % thats is a 54.96% gain in 3 MONTHS!) - Wow! Still got CASH to SPEND lorrr!

in Feb, MAS - 0.695. wow! cheap cheap you think. so you buy maximum. 2100 shares (so sad, no beer money!).

Cost is RM1469.50 (still have only RM 20 for one glass of beer for yourself, so sad)....today MAS closed 0.33 SEN

Therotical Gain RM 693 - RM 1469.50 = -766.50 (Loss of 52.52%) AIYOH!!! no spare money for beer to drown sorrow lorrr!

i'm not smart but my remizer..at MIB told me to do that.. I bur MAS-OR 0.03 X 50K=RM1500 then buy Mother MAS 0.26 X 50k = RM13,000 Total = RM14,500.. high cost.. I sold all 50000 on thur(06.06.13) at 0.40.. if any stoc have onother OR plese share on this forum.. I a new investor...

To me, all person will say mas is not good company if the price going down.but all person can say mas still good company if price going up..mas now at bottom level.time to rebound..good time to invest enter depend ur decision..last time ib predict maybulk is not good co, but now all analyst cover maybulk can go rm2.00.. mhb if price going up, u all say can rebound back rm3.80, but if price drop u all say tak bagus la..as a investor, u must know buy at the low and sell the higher..not like gambler.

Is the CEO and BoD CONSTANTLY LYING to shareholders and Public (MAS & KNM)

Is the Board of Directors overpaid (MISC)?

IF there is a stock market CRASH tomorrow, will I be happy to hold this share long term? (NESTLE)

Am I confident in the ability of the management to continue to execute strategy and pay out a decent dividend? Even in a CRASH situation. (DIGI)

Do I know anything about the business that the company is involved in?

Who are the competitors in the business? Is the business sustainable?

Is earnings LUMPY? Are Forecast ACCURATE? Is there any deviation from AUDITED and UNAUDITED accounts?

Has there been any UNUSUAL MARKET ACTIVITY (UMA)? (JOHAN)

Can I trust these buggers to look after MINORITY shareholders?

Is there any chance of a CASH CALL (RIGHTS ISSUE)? (MAS)
