Charles Brewer has been the Group CEO for a few months now. Hope Pos Malaysia can be great again. Maybe Pos Malaysia can transform into companies like Amazon or Alibaba.
Lau sai...slow counter despite new CEO. CEO probably facing much issues within especially cultural and unable to close or centralise branches !! Hope CEO can persuade change !!
After this spend money on retraining program for staff to "improve customer service". Anyone heard any updates on their "turnaround plan" that was supposed to complete last year? I didn't see any news/announcements about this.
Got youtuber complain about crappy app for iOS - keyboard disappear. This kind of error is quite embarassing. Shows lack of QA (test engineers). https://youtu.be/gSWZqK8-uBk
Hhhmmm its actually a consistent trend i see that most local company apps are crap (MYSJ? AZ registration - blame google maps? ). I guess the talent pool in this region is still a long way to go. If they sub-con to india would probably be worse.
This counter doing ronggeng...Poor management to be blamed. Need to train all Post outlets to work hard, work smart with good customer service. Hmmm...wu va counter
Haiyah....dunno lar. All circumstances not so good for Pos. Regret buy this one. Hopefully someone say become a Fedex !? Sure arh . How long to wait!??
i thought this company privatized will be more efficient. seems like still behaving like government agency. only now consolidate mail and parcel networks? what a joke keep saying union is the issue. The bigger issue is crappy leadership with uncompetitive attitude. This is what happens when you have bean counters at the top.
staff working at post office like half dead. wanted to poslaju a table fan, staff said too big no place to put. ask me go to another branch. hahahah....
It is interesting to find out analysts project POS to be profitable either next year or in 2024. It is possible that we have seen the worst of POS. Technically, share price looks good. Some investors must be accumulating. Good luck!
Logistics market in Malaysia is very small, 33M with more than 100 registered company, personal opinion less than 10% of the company profitable, and POS is national brand, in holistically view Mcmc will implied new license category, 2 local company will be benefited - POS
No idea what is the competitive edge it has and why should companies use its services when others could provide a better service. Supposed to deliver laju documents but just left the notice of collection in the mail box without messaging to recipient. Claimed condo is still not allowed to go to respective units for delivery, lol. That show it office is outdated and just let its delivery staff said whatever they want. Front liners is one of the most important assets, if they failed to deliver quality services, others is just a waste of time and money.
The postal service provider reported a core net loss of RM43.5mil in 3QFY22, which brought 9MFY22 net loss to RM73.5mil.
According to Hong Leong Investment Bank (HLIB) Research, the results were below its and market expectations.
"Although PosM has plans to mitigate the impact of falling parcel volumes by improving overall parcel yield, and reducing transport costs via productivity improvements, we remain wary over its recovery prospects as the competition in last mile delivery space continue to remain intense, as evident by Nationwide Express’ recent announcement to gradually cease operations," it said in a research note.
It added that Pos' conventional mall business is struggling to stay relevant in the digital age while cost-cutting measures to counters its weakening core business revenue remain insufficient.
Kenanga maintained its "underperform" rating on Pos and slashed its target price to 49 sen from 55 sen previously.
