“Malaysian ringgit’s fundamentals remain supportive due to elevated commodity prices,” said Divya Devesh, head of Asean and South-Asia foreign-exchange research at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. “We expect dollar ringgit to trade in a wide 4.20-to-4.30 range in the second quarter, before recovering toward 4.20 by end of June on the back of Malaysia’s very strong trade surplus.”
One of the worrying signs for the ringgit is the retracement in oil prices even as the war in Ukraine continues to
rage. Crude has dropped about 20% from its peak set last month as lockdowns in China have cut the outlook for demand. Malaysia is an energy exporter.
Taken together, the dovish central bank and the uncertain outlook for oil suggest the ringgit will have a difficult time making any headway against the all-conquering dollar

Soyoil futures inching near 80 sen a lb

We already turned bullish on palm oil when Soyoil crossed 30 sen a lb

Now we are in Palm oil Superbull as both sunflower oil and soyoil are depleted

Soyoil skyrocketing up in price

Only palm oil is the cheapest

If don't use palm oil will see 18% food inflation that bankrupted Sri Lanka and all others which swallowed the Esg lie against palm oil

Ok to give u a good picture on palmoil ban by indonesia;

Indonesia producer can only sell domestically at Rm 3500 to Rm 4500 loh!
Their production cost is Rm 1500 to Rm 2000 loh!
Still making good profit but much less loh!

Msia producer can sell Rm 6500 to Rm 7500 mah!
Msian producers cost at Rm 2000 to Rm 2400, can make super abnormal profit loh!

Those who think indo planter will suffer big after the export ban maybe dont know that they hv to pay huge export levy up to max usd375 and export tax up to max usd200 a tonne. So they dont really make extraordinary profit from export compare to profit from domestic market.
