Long steel will only be good when there is High Heavy duty infrar projects

Currently in Malaysia

Ecrl needs lots of long steel bars

Pan Borneo Highway needs lots more long steel bars

Near future USA needs lots more Long steel bars as it proposed USD1 Trillions for Infrastructure (Usd1 trillion equals to Rm4.1 Trillions)

And Masteel is an exporter of long steel bars and billets

Most steel companies got high capex and outlay of capital leading to high borrowings and high interest payments

Masteel avoided this by way of Rights Issue

Steel is a very heavy product and as such it's location to projects will save cost of transportation and time

Since Masteel factories are located in Selangor where the Ecrl will be near it is an ideal location

in the far future Masteel can export it's long steel bars from Port Klang or from Kuantan port through Ecrl train route

Best to take position when price is low

Masteel near 50 sen is now at a historically low price and it's peak was over Rm1.50

So there is lots of upside

The application of long steel bars

1. long steel bars are used as reinforcement when highways embankments are built to protect from erosion

Highways can give way if embankments are weak due to earth movement by earthquake , landslide or flooding

so long steel gives strong support

as world population increase and lands became scarce buildings will go higher and higher world wide leading to more needs of long steel bars

As iron ore prices shoot up it will be more costly for steel companies

吉隆坡15日讯）周一（16日）开始，在第一阶段国家复苏计划区的11项经济活动获准重新开放营业！

首相丹斯里慕尤丁发文告指出，由于意识到经济领域迟迟不开放将影响私人界及员工生计，因此政府同意从 8 月 16 日（周一）开始，让11项经济活动重新复工。

获准复工的经济活动及领域计有:
1. 洗车店
2. 电器和电子商店
3. 存放家居用品和厨具
4. 家具店
5. 运动器材专卖店
6. 汽车配件店
7. 汽车配送销售中心
8. 仅限早市和农贸市场
9. 服装、时装和配饰店
10. 珠宝店
11. 理发店和美容中心/沙龙（基本理发服务只要）

不过，他指出，有关宣布仅落实在成人疫苗接种率达50%的州属，而想要享有这些方便的人也必须得完成两剂疫苗的注射。期间，他就以巴生谷为例指出， 该区18岁以上的接种率已经达到64.7%， 因此可以获准重启11项经济活动。

他表示，届时，民众得出示数字证书，证明自己已经完成接种2剂疫苗。

“我再次提醒，完全接种的意思是注射第二剂双剂型疫苗后的 14 天，而单剂疫苗则是 28 天后才算完成。”

他也说，进一步详细指南，他将会在近期宣布。

This thread has become so quiet. It used to be populated by some very active promoters here just a month or two ago, when the price was so much higher. Now that the price has become so much lower, they are nowhere to be found.

This morning, steel counters got a bit of boost of confidence after the release of Prestar and Tashin results yesterday. Why those traders never came here to promote this counter when prices were much more attractive in the last few days, lol?

For every right issue, we need to pay RM0.395 PER RIGHTS SHARE correct? Means if I eligible for 10,000 RI, I need to pay 10,000xRM0.395= RM3,950 correct?
