who will win? Short Sellers or Big Funds?

I do believe the Big Funds are desperate for a category called Dividend Income. Capital losses they will disregard as temporary.

Sometimes shares limit up after exdate due to fighting for dividend income. Will tomorrow be such a day?

No info for this new deal whether they will lease bak or use the fund to buy new planes...most probably will lease bak....

But anyway its a good deal....since leasing will increse operational cost but will offset by depreciation n interest ...so the cost for lease can be managed with lower operation cost n higher revenue with more planes...coz leasing can allow for more rapid expansion as aa is now expanding rapidly...

The planes AA sells are older machines. AA can then buy newer airplanes which will require less maintenance and are more fuel efficient. It is a very good deal. Usually nobody buys airplanes from a budget airline.
