AA is good if go down mostly is someone burst !! Is see a few or a lot !! A lot burst sure force sell so price down !! Many people hold many buyers will go up !!

Interest rate up or down, recession or whatever, unless many Malaysians go into poverty, the demand for travel will still be there and will continue to grow. In fact, when economy is not good, people may substitute full service airlines like MAS/SQ for AA.

Another thing is AA got not much debt, so they wont be affected by sharp increases in interest rate. With the cash pile in hand, they can acquire new assets at discounted prices later ;)

Tomorrow RM1.3b dividend money will be deposited to shareholders' account. Assuming RM3 per share and 10% of the money will be used to buy more airasia shares, that will be about 40m shares to be purchased.

freetospeal, there would be rate hikes by the Fed but probably at a much softer tone than being aggressive as how they were in 2018. As I said, there are external factors that have to be included and studied before choosing to raise or cut rates or even to stand pat on rates

Lsnesra, read my previous comments. Paper profit is not realised profit. It is always good to take profits along the way, that is why I sold off approximately 40% of my AA shares simply because realised profit is better than paper profit. Be smart, invest smart and trade smart

JN88, there are 2 rules in investing. Rule 1 is when someone calls themselves a Sifu, never listen to them as self-proclaimed Sifus dont last long.

Rule number 2 of investing is to refer back to rule number 1 mentioned above lol.
