I sold AA at 1.75 by Dec last year and I though that was low price to sell.
Now 1.75 became 49% more then current price of 1.17, just one month +.

With all the news released, the waterfall will soon become Niagara Fall, low enough that everyone can buy.

EPF did a fantastic move by disposing off their substantial stakes in AA since December 2019, at the onset of Covid-19. Based solely on the evolving developments of Covid-19 on 2020 profitability (losses) coupled with the details as set out in Focus Malaysia in respect of the “Airbus” matters, newbies should not be tempted to “bottom fish” even at current price.

Covid-19 & Airbus matters are completely 2 separate issues. Main significant impact is Covid-19 on the Aviation sector & EPF started selling even prior to the negative news on the Airbus matters.

Keeping 100% Cash is never a good move in the environment of low interest rate (getting lower soon). It should be 50% (Cash/Bonds) and 50% on a portfolio of Glove & glove related counters plus high dividend yield counters with strong balance sheet/fundamentals. Crisis = Opportunities but share portfolio re-balancing should have already been initiated/adjusted at the onset of Covid-19 so as to be in a comfortable first mover advantage position.

Newspapers like to sensationalize matters. China has been more transparent nowadays as compared with the SARS era. An easy statistical comparison will be the mortality rate outside China. Unless Covid-19 mutates, the mortality rate is still similar to that of a Flu epidemic.

The article "Those emails between Airasia executives and Airbus" is a butt joke on Airbus and SOF. Nothing in the article mentioned about personal gains attained nor even thread by the executives that could amount to a bribery charge.

Read the entire chronology, what the executive did was just hard nego... but those stupid Sales People in Airbus, so desperate for sales construed it as bribery solicitation. They are just so scared to say a 'no'!! Who would - coz doing so, one will be walking away from a very very large paycheck. You dont get that many airlines come knocking to buy planes let alone in hundreds!

All i can see was a bunch of cook up stories by Airbus officers - trying to please Tony and taking things off tangent for sake of making that commission.

SFO another fool, took the whole story from Airbus as gospel truth and put charges on people without checking facts.. If AA wins this cade, better sue those SFO idiots till tomorrow comes - My opinion - dont think there is a case on Tony and K, unless there is more supporting email other than those included in the article.
