Dont invest on hopes. As long as no news on reopening of borders, AA remains a huge risk as it is a debt ridden company.

（首尔16日讯）大韩航空（Korean Air）正式宣布并购韩亚航空（Asiana），也让大韩航空一下子就跻身为全球航空第10大。

疫情让全球航空业捉襟见肘，普遍遇到经营难关，韩国航空业也不例外。市场日前对大韩航空，有意收购同业韩亚航空的传言甚嚣尘上。不过这则传言，在稍早已经变成事实。

这家韩国最大航空公司大韩航空，将以2.5兆韩元约23亿美元价格，吃下当地小航空公司韩亚航空。这桩并购案，也让目前全球排名18名的大韩航空，一口气就登上全球第10大航空公司排行。

大韩航空计划以出售新股方式，来筹资这2.5兆。另外，母公司韩进KAL控股（Hanjin KAL）也会注入8000亿韩元来支持此并购案。大韩航空将从债权人由政府经营的韩国产业银行，买入近31%韩亚航股权。

据悉，韩国产业银行也将投资，由韩进KAL控股所发行5000亿韩元等值股票，以及3000亿韩元的可转债。韩进KAL控股本星期也将向韩国产业银行递交意向书，依照并购程序来进行。

不过，韩亚航大股东却是隶属于大财团锦湖韩亚集团的锦湖实业。

9月时，韩亚航包括韩国产业银行等债权人，决定是将韩亚航卖给由现代产业开发为首的财团，而不是大韩航空。当初，现代产业开发也同意以2.5兆韩元，购买包括韩亚航与其他6家分公司。但最后，现代产业开发与大股东锦湖和其他债权人协商破局。于是乎，大韩航空就变成程咬金，并完成这桩航空业大型并购案。
