This statement by you shows how much you don’t understand AA or any business decision making. The reason why AA sold Japan and India is because these two markets requires more time for the venture to turn into profit. Means it was burning cash. So in order to conserve cash the management decided that they are better off focusing on profitable markets and markets that they know they are strong in, instead of trying to grab market share but lose money. Indonesia and Philippines are strong market for AA and they will not sell it. Are you really that clueless?
