At least AA wont drop drastically. Despite as at current situation + covid prolong. Price should be @20¢. This is call mercy.

Still got chance for people to sell n run. Imagine covid prolong for another 2 years....Can AA sustain?? No need to think lah just sell n run!! Then can hv a very good sleep ya....no need to think covid, travel ban etc nemore...

everyday is burning cash for plane maintenance and parking fees, once cash depleted like cruise and fail to raise more money you see what going happen next...
The market already shrinking and we have 2 more new airline launched, that is really not a good news to Airasia..

The lease liabilities amounting to RM13.9 billion includes deferred aircraft leases of approximately RM2.5 billion. The lease liabilities are supported by ROU of RM9.4 billion (net of impairment) and finance lease receivables of RM0.5 billion (net of impairment).

During the current quarter, a total of 17 aircraft leases had been restructured. The restructuring of the leases resulted in the lease liabilities being recomputed using the new lease terms and reduced lease rates. The past due amounts waived was approximately RM187.8 million.

MFRS128 provides that entities discontinue recognising their share of further losses when its share of the losses equals to or exceeds its interest in the associate. Accordingly, the Group has only recognised losses to the extent of its interest in these associates. The unrecognised losses at the reporting date amounted to RM1,174.1 million.

If you pay 60 cents for AA share which has NAPS of negative 81 cents. That mean you pay for goodwill of RM 1.41. But no worries if AA go under you only lose 60 cents as no one will come after you for the balance 81 cents. That is what AA said about its investment in Associate companies.
