Forward bookings are a standard practice within the aviation industry. While I lack precise statistics differentiating between advance reservations for future travel and spontaneous bookings for immediate travel, it is my belief that a significant portion of individuals strategically plan their trips or vacations well in advance—spanning periods like 3 to 9 months. As such, forward bookings represent recognised revenue within this sector, a principle applicable not only to AirAsia

In terms of debt management, it is imperative that AirAsia showcases a consistent capability to meet interest obligations while gradually reduce the principal amount over specified timeframes. This financial competency should be seamlessly integrated into the PN17 regularisation plan. This comprehensive strategy should encompass revenue projections, thoughtful assessments of industry recovery, and the prospective expansion of non-aviation ventures under the umbrella of the CapitalA organisation

#Sslee Just wait and see what Stony can come out with PN17 regularisation plan without capital injection or debt restructure to pare down debts and start aflesh like many other airlines did before you salute AA too early.

CapitalA stay afloat by using advance sale for current working capital and roll over debts to next quarter with increasing interest payment. So how long can this last?

16/08/2023 6:20 PM

Cheers my Handsome sslee!

According to ancient historians, it took 1,229 years to build Rome by counting from its founding until its collapse. However, the ancient city saw its population max out at one half to one million people in the second century A.D., depending on which estimate you use. And building largely petered out before the empire’s final days. That means it took roughly 800 years to build ancient Rome to its peak.

Fair enough, Capital A Berhad is likely to announce its PN17 regularisation plan this month and submit it for approval to Bursa Malaysia next month. The company expects to complete the implementation of its PN17 regularisation plan in the fourth quarter of 2023 (4Q23). It aimed for the PN17 status to be lifted before year-end.

Just take a look at Seacera up-liftment (PN17) price today. Last night closing 20.5sen. Whatever initial price "jump", you multiply by 2..

Unlike CapitalA, Seacera is a "dead frog" from the beginning...

It's certainly looking good.

Trade with care...

Bankers, institute investors and fund managers deserved to be cheated by SD Karim for their greed.

CapitalA as PN17 companies no bankers, institute investors nor fund managers will take risk to invest in CapitalA as shareholders. Most of CapitalA shareholders are mostly retail investors or Suiyee Sucker Billis. They deserved to be told the truth.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 17): Serba Dinamik Bhd may be delisted from the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on Aug 28, as Bursa Securities has rejected the troubled oil and gas company's application for more time to submit its regularisation plan.

The Practice Note 17 (PN17) company has until Aug 23 to appeal against the delisting, according to a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (Aug 16).

Efforts should be made to fully grasp the triggering criteria detailed in Practice Note 17 for the case of CapitalA (formerly known as AirAsia Berhad). A thorough understanding of these triggers is necessary to identify the root causes and develop appropriate solutions for each case

The airline, CapitalA (formerly AirAsia Berhad), activated the PN17 criteria in July 2020 due to an unqualified audit opinion issued by its external auditors, Ernst & Young PLT. This opinion expressed material uncertainty regarding the going concern of the company's financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2019. Furthermore, the consolidated shareholders' equity was found to be 50% or less of its share capital

This occurrence falls under Paragraph 2.1 of the Main Market listing requirement, section 2.0 (2.1)(e) of Practice Note 17. To comply with the requirements stipulated in PN17, CapitalA is obliged to present a comprehensive regularisation plan that satisfies the Exchange. This plan should demonstrate the company's ability to fortify its financial position, encompassing areas such as securities holders' equity, gearing, net asset position, cash flow, and the resolution of accumulated losses. It is important to note that this list is not exhaustive

The possibility of lifting CapitalA Practice Note 17 status hinges upon obtaining a waiver from Bursa Malaysia Securities for the adherence to Paragraph 8.04 (3)(a) of the Main Market listing requirements. This take into consideration that CapitalA group no longer triggers any prescribed criteria outlined in Paragraph 2.1 of the Main Market listing requirements

It is worth noting that PN17 does not include any provisions mandating a listed issuer to eliminate its entire debt and achieve debt-free status within a 12-month timeframe to exit PN17 classification. I hope this clarifies the subject matter for you. I may have overlooked or misinterpreted the criteria and obligations of PN17

Mabel loves PN17 Companies (AA and SE) as these counters are a good platform to practise Mabel's trading skills as it has volume and attracts the big players.

Before the big climb, Mabel's average holding cost was 76 sen. Then Mabel collect more with the last collection at 84 sen...

90% of AA Missile was automatically triggered and launched from Mabel's Artificial Intelligence Trading System when our Jet Fighters breaches RM 1 at different height with the latest Missiles launched at RM 1.10 today and yesterday.

Since Mabel still believes in Air Asia turnaround potential, Mabel will continue to hold the remaining 10%. Capital A Berhad is expected to announce its PN17 regularisation plan this month and submit it for approval to Bursa Malaysia next month. The company expects to complete the implementation of its PN17 regularisation plan in the fourth quarter of 2023 (4Q23). It aimed for the PN17 status to be lifted before year-end.

Despite being a PN17, Air Asia has given Mabel with a healthy double digit profits since Mabel re-enter Air Asia this year..

Will Buy Back at 87 sen..

It would be inappropriate to seek the opinion of the general public on whether CapitalA can submit a regularisation plan to Bursa, as such a discussion could lead to speculation and rumours. The suitable avenue for addressing this specific matter is by engaging with CapitalA's investor relations, which aligns with the rights and responsibilities of shareholders under corporate governance principles

For a thorough understanding, it is advisable to carefully review the publicly available news release. I suggest revisiting the unqualified audit opinion issued by Ernst & Young PLT concerning the Airasia case, focusing on the specified criteria outlined in the report. It's important to note that while the answer was provided in yesterday's post, there remains a possibility of misinterpretation since I represent the general public and not any involved parties in this case

Even Stony can't talk the talk and walk the walk and you expect IR to give you the answer on when capitalA can submit the PN17 regularisation plan?

Capital A Bhd is optimistic about its potential growth this year, following a strong rebound in travel demand post Covid, and expects to be out of Practice Note 17 (PN17) status by the end of this year, said chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

He said the investment holding group, which is involved in aviation, logistics, lifestyle, and financial services ventures, plans to submit its finalised regularisation plan to Bursa Malaysia as early as February.

“We can be out of PN17 status, definitely this year, and I hope much earlier than that. All of the consultants are now going through all the work.

“We hope to submit to Bursa somewhere between February and April. Once we get the approval, then we will go through it,” he told reporters on the side-lines of the airasia Super App rider and driver appreciation event here on Thursday (Jan 12).

Capital A fell into the PN17 list of Bursa Securities, a categorisation for distressed entities, in January 2022.

I have predicted China splitting into five(5) pieces, couple of years ago.
The reality is gradually unfolding.

However, AA/AAX does not fly to CHINA only.
They can fly kite elsewhere, therefore business as usual.

Dynamic pricing is universal, nothing to worry.
AA/AAX is not GLC which expects white knight on a white horse coming down from white clouds with white bag full of "non-white" money to launder.

Meanwhile, Malaysia's business environment is dependent on China.
It has the Chinese support who owns many businesses.
Bulk of import are from China and Malaysia market is flooded with junk products from there. Online platforms and franchise outlets like MRDIY are Chinese junk product dealers.

According to Tourism Malaysia, the top ten international tourist arrivals to Malaysia in 2020 were from Singapore (1,545,255), Indonesia (711,723), China (405,149), Thailand (394,413), India (155,883), Brunei (136,020), South Korea (119,750), Japan (74,383), Australia (72,680), and Vietnam (64,184).

China travelers only 11% of the total arrival. Assuming they split with MAS, AAX, Capital A and other Airlines, we are talking about perhaps 2-3 % of the travelers cuming with Capital A.

So what's so scary about China?

#rr88 I made 15++ mil$ since 1992.
Only 2 rules to follow:

Rule 1: Go where the crowd gather. If u want to see a game, dont go to empty stadium. Same concept here. When there is a crowd, there is an operator. Operator moves market.

Rule 2: Before you go in, you must set where you need to exit if you got it wrong. Or they say set yr cut loss point. Bcause you can be wrong n can be very wrong.

Ok boys n girls?

And last but not least, master a few candlestick signals n basic chart patterns. Some signals n patterns are 95% reliable. They tell you which direction price will move ahead before the actual move. Of course the basic breakout n breakdown moves.

And as happened to capitala today, observe n make calculated guess where deep pocket operator n fund making their purchases n where they will con people to distribute n take their profit. This is bursa. Modus operandii of operators is the same. They buy, push, n distribute. And it works every time. Because people are ever willing to be conned.

Haha Mabel used to think that trading was WAYYY too risky for my liking. After all, nobody likes to be looking at charts 24/7.

One of my biggest issues with trading is the potential of losing money in the stock market if you forget to exit your trade and you’re away.

This is why Mabel has always advocated investing rather than trading...until Mabel see Sifu r88 who challenged my beliefs.

While others were worrying about their jobs during the pandemic, as you can see Sifu r88 has already make millions..

Coming to think of it, its actually doable but you need to be selective and you don't have to spend so much time. 1-2 hours a day should be enough with fewer charts, fewer indicators, and fewer strategies. You don’t need complicated techniques or frameworks to trade profitably.

The end result? No need to look so far..just take a look at Sifu rr88..

Enjoy your weekend Guys..

DickyMe Stony is not a liar. He is just trying to survive and uplift the business

DickyMe is telling the truth. Stony is just trying to stay afloat and venture into business that he don't understand but think can uplift the sinking ship.

Just to make Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation ("EBITDA") look nicer CapitalA actually moving the operation expenses: aircraft lease expenses to Depreciation: depreciation on right of use asset.

And in cash flow statement:
Cashflow from operating activities : Add back the depreciation + Finance cost- lease liabilities
But in financial activities: Repayment of borrowing and lease liabilities.

So in Q1:
Depreciation on right of use asset: RM 326,002,000
Finance cost- lease liabilities: RM 169,084,000

From cashflow: Repayment of borrowing and lease liabilities: RM (373,975,000)

Is this mean CapitalA did not pay fully Depreciation on right of use asset/aircraft lease expenses: RM 326,002,000 + Finance cost- lease liabilities: RM 169,084,000 and the deficit will be rollover to the next quarter?

"Sometimes facts can also bring you to Holland."
=====================

Yes! That is true.
We have excellent example in SSLee who missed the plane to Profit Land, not once but twice. He/she has been obstinate for adhereing to their so called "facts"

The "fact" was AA was not generating single sen during pandemic,
The "fact" also states AA is back in business and generating revenue.
Whether it is enough to offset debts is another matter, based on goodwill with "suppliers". Once they are confident, they will wait. That is what most businesses do and they don't cut off revenue stream.
