Think you really need calculate properly especially those buying now at this over 90c price as to me like so many new shares issuing out, not sure how many of the free shares from AAX. Even AAX also the same situation. As cannot be the price keep raising with so many new shares out...........

For Capital A shareholders point of view, they will support this, The challenge lays in RCUIDS holders and AAX shareholders

Yes, you should calculate properly, cap a financial statement separate aviation segment and non-aviation segment for a reason.
If you hardworking and done your excel homework, you already know the following:

1. Estimated revenue of AAX plus Cap A aviation segment.
2. AAX total shares after post restructure, new shares (issued to cap a), existing aax share and private placement new share.
3. estimation on EPS, debt service ability, pre-sales ticket order and chances on AAX dividend.

This homework probably takes 5-6 hours to complete, but when you look at the excel sheet, compare to the investment house target price, net asset value and PE ratio, you will know either is undervalue or overvalue for both AAX and Cap A after restructure.

Got 1 blind spot keep misled in i3, Cap A got huge debt, how to repay. Per independent director, the lease contract range from 12 to 18 years, so dont ask how to service billions ringgit lease liabilities because it show you ignorant on accounting. Go to cashflow statement "cashflow from financing" to study the detail.

No need to fight it out for who is to be the Top Sucker.
The winner will be the one come out with RM 1 billion for AAX PP.

Recently operation strategy has changed from 1 aircraft 1 route, to flexible aircraft model for 1 route.
It means if the route has too little booking due to seasonal demand, AA can change small aircraft for this route and utilize big aircraft for strong demand route. Example: CNY, SG to KL is using 9-seat aircraft, ordinary time using using 4-seat aircraft.
To achieve economic of scale and able to use different aircraft combination to service the busy / non-busy route due to seasonal demand, AAX will agree to merge with AA.
This new operation strategy got 3 advantage:
1. Save fuel = save cost
2. boost up the load factor because smaller plane
3. reach out more route to create demand, without spending huge cost given that A321neo deployment.

Can some accountant enlighten us, is current liabilities mean payment in 12 to 18 years?

Did Stony answer below two questions?

As at 30/6/2024
Total current assets: RM 2,319,481,000
Total current liabilities: RM 15,798,327,000
Net current liabilities: RM 13,478,846,000

Question 1: BOD, can CapitalA generate enough cash flow to pay for all the current liabilities in the next 12 months?

Question 2: If the answer is NO, then how is Capital A/AAX going to avoid payment default especially on trade and other payables, aircraft maintenance, amount due to associate and related parties, borrowings, current portion of long term debentures and lease liabilities?

As at 30/6/2024
RM’000
CURRENT LIABILITIES
Trade and other payables: 4,725,450
Aircraft maintenance provision and liabilities: 1,950,706
Sales in advance: 2,041,289
Amounts due to associates: 21,297
Amounts due to related parties: 502,283
Borrowings: 809,799
Current portion of long term debentures: 191,518
Lease liabilities: 5,510,697
Derivative financial instruments: 24

Sorry to said, I don't buy for any dividend for either AAX and CapitalA at all as there is massive repaying awaiting each other, whether their profit will boom also a question mark as so far it is not there yet, yes, potential but not so fast within this few qtrs........it is no magic show that out of sudden the the profit just flying in, this whole exercise to me is like moving the debts to AAX first atleast to get CapitalA out of PN17........

Of course AAX next PN17, the terms are much worse than before but AAX shareholders are jumping in joy for the little repayment back
0.0000001 is better than no repayment af all.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

AAX next PN17 is around 6 months time, but Act of Parliament can be passed to exempt AAX from Bursa regulations if all MPs agree otherwise get paid back 0.0000001 per RM1.00

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

sslee
No need for AAX to pay anything. Many options
Via
Bursa exemption by Act of Parliament.
Anwar Ibrahim to pay RM10 billion Bantuan Bursa to AAX.
All creditors no payment including staff, pilots, airports, aviation fuel etc etc 100% free supplies.

Yes, AirAsia X (AAX) does fly to Thailand. They operate flights to major destinations such as Bangkok (both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports) and Phuket. These routes are popular due to the high demand for travel between Malaysia and Thailand

Except for Night Life, Thailand offers a wealth of experiences such as Visit iconic temples like the Grand Palace and Wat Pho in Bangkok, or the stunning White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) in Chiang Rai.

Discover the beautiful islands in the Andaman Sea, such as Phuket, Krabi, and the famous James Bond Island.

Here’s the best part enjoy delicious street food in places like Bangkok’s Chinatown or take a cooking class to learn how to make traditional dishes. Experience the vibrant Damnoen Saduak Floating Market near Bangkok, where you can shop from boats and enjoy local delicacies.

Relax on the pristine beaches of Phuket and Koh Samui, or go scuba diving and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters.

Attend traditional dance performances, Muay Thai matches, or participate in festivals like Songkran (Thai New Year) and Loy Krathong.

Visit national parks like Khao Sok for jungle trekking, or explore the waterfalls and caves in Erawan National Park.

Too bad the the Aerophobia Team [Fear of FLYING] will miss all these excitements...hihihi

Btw
In order to invest in Madoff investment management companies, investors were required to beg to allow their money to be managed by Madoff.
The process also took a long time, this method ensured a huge demand for Madoff services and resulted in huge money inflows for Madoff.

The revenue bonds comprised US$243 million in Tranche A Bonds and US$200 million in Tranche B Bonds which are cleared through Euroclear/Clearstream.

The Tranche A Bonds were issued to a group of six leading aircraft lessors to refinance outstanding lease liabilities owing as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, whilst the new capital received from the issuance of the Tranche B Bonds to the private credit funds will be used to finance the return to service of certain aircraft which have remained grounded since the pandemic.

You beleive PN17 is just an accounting issue and Stony can make it go AWAY?

Then why need revenue bonds and disposal of CapitalA aviation to sucker AAX?

If it is just an accunnting issue shouldn't CapitalA suit Bursa SC for wrongful action and billion in compensation in wrongly clasified capitalA as PN17 like what Serba trying to suit external auditor for wrongful audit and billion in compensation?

Do the Sot Sot know all AA's planes owned by lessors and even total of 362 aircraft in orderbook to be delivered in the next 12 years, 73 aircraft have already been secured financing through Sales and Leaseback (SLB) arrangements with several lessors.

And by the way Tranche B Bonds usd 243 million to the private credit funds will be used to finance the return to service of certain aircraft which have remained grounded since the pandemic.

So even the planes belong to lessors capA still need money to reactivate leases planes which have remained grounded since the pandemic and also the lease.

Know how much lease payment capitalA pay to lessors for not active grounded planes? (Just go and read the quarter report)

Mabel Airlines Capital A only uses Airbus. It was a smart decision..

Remember, both Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 and Flight MH17 were operated using the Boeing 777 aircraft.

MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014, while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing1. MH17 was tragically shot down over Ukraine on July 17, 2014, while flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

Boeing’s production delays are affecting multiple aircraft types. The delays are primarily due to ongoing quality and safety issues, which have impacted the production and delivery schedules of several models, including the 737 MAX, 777X, and 787 Dreamliner.

For example:

737 MAX: Production has been slowed due to quality control problems, and the FAA has restricted Boeing from increasing production until these issues are resolved.

777X: The delivery of this model has been delayed multiple times, with current estimates pushing deliveries to 2026.

787 Dreamliner: This model has also faced production setbacks, contributing to a backlog of undelivered aircraft.

These delays are causing significant ripple effects across the airline industry, affecting airlines’ growth plans and operational schedules.

US representative Ilhan Omar says Israel’s ‘evil genocide must end’
In a post on X, Omar, a Democrat, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Netanyahu is committing human rights abuses over and over again—bombing hospitals, burning Palestinians alive, blocking food aid, and killing aid workers”.

“This evil genocide must end and President Biden has to stop enabling it,” she said.

AAX in April announced the acquisition of Capital A’s aviation business — AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd and AirAsia Bhd — for RM6.8 billion.

Capital A will get RM3 billion worth of AAX shares in exchange, while AAX will assume a RM3.83 billion debt that Capital A owes the aviation business.

I really not sure how this works as Capital A to me owe more than that and now AAX take 3.83 billion off from them. AAX give out shares of 3 billion to Capital A (not sure how this calculated, the last I know is 4 AAX per capital A shareholder?) which the shareholders. So definitely don't talk about dividend to me, as all those repayment without the airline business, I really not sure how can repay.......
