i went in before @ 2.26 and sold off last monday @ 2.52. felt it still have an uptrend potential, I today re-enter @ 2.62. hopefully my premonition will not get me wrong.

Maybank Investment raised the target price of Islamic lender BIMB Holdings to RM2.95 per share from RM2.55 on higher valuations and rising profitability.

The investment bank said it expects Bank Islam net profit to rise in 2012-2013 due to an upward revision in fee incomes.

There is also growth potential from its Indonesian operations, which are still in their infancy, Maybank Investment said.

"We expect Bank Islam to register relatively healthy return on equity of 12.6 percent in 2012 and 13 percent in 2013," Maybank Investment analyst Desmond Ch'ng said in a note to clients.

"Coupled with the fact that the bank still has much room to gear up given it is well capitalised and has a highly liquid balance sheet, the higher valuations are justified." -- Reuters

This Smartag thought it's a 10 cents counter but it's NTA is around 19 cents & now selling for 24 cents you all dare not buy ...however those useless pennies at NTA 9 cents & you all chase & buy at more than 50 cents & still you are satisfied...think my friend, use common sense.

Hi Chong, agree with you, it's the herd mentality, they see a 'gold rush' and they stampede to get there first, then find the gold does not exist and some get burnt badly while the wolves lick their lips.
On the other hand, you give good and solid justification for the counters you highlighted and they are real gold mines. Keep it up!
