問|請問金務大（ GAMUDA， 5398，主板建築股）半年業績表現不錯，為什么股價沒有反映出來？像金務大這樣的建築股今年內是不是還可以期待？

每年7月31日結賬的金務大，是在3月23日公佈2018財政年次季暨上半年業績，上半年累積營收按年上漲30.6%，至17億7458萬令吉；累積淨利增升26.15%，至4億1427萬令吉。

上半年的營收與淨利皆超越分析員的預期，各佔其2017財政年全年營收和淨利的55.26%和68.81%。

金務大股價在業績出爐後下一個交易日（ 26日）略跌1仙或0.12%，至5.11令吉，因其股價先前已反映次季業績。

按業績出街當天的閉市價5.12令吉計算，金務大年初至今已升28仙或5.79%。

金務大現財政年下半年（2月至7月）的淨利表現依然值得期待。

該公司目前靠捷運2號線（ MRT2）和砂拉越泛婆羅大道工程「吃糊」。

該公司手頭上的建築工程訂單總值69億令吉，捷運2號幹線和泛婆羅大道的剩餘工程價值各佔62億令吉和7億令吉。這2項工程將在2022年才完工。

產業業務有望達標

同時，金務大的產業業務亦有不俗的表現，新加坡與越南產業項目佔上半年產業銷售的2/ 3。該公司訂下的35億令吉全年銷售目標有望達標。

金務大的前景能否進一步加分，取決於該公司能否順利地獲得捷運3號線工程。

該公司如今對這項總值450億令吉的基建項目志在必得。

值得一提的是，捷運機構（ MRT Corp）去年11月宣布，捷運3號線工程改為總承包商的形式來頒發，並非一如既往通過工程執行夥伴（PDP）來執行。

金務大乃通過與MMC機構（MMCCORP，2194）及喬治肯特（ GKENT， 3204）組成聯營公司，競標捷運3號線工程，唯一的競爭對手是中國交通建設公司（CCCC）。

So i sold off Inari C12, 11, 15 to follow him at 2.5 sen also sold off Krono, Bahvest

Bought at day high MMC and MRCB cws

Now i am down 15-50% on his recommended stocks

But Opportunity loss on INARI CW closed at 4.5 sen today 110% above the price i sold at 2,5 sen

Maybe not die yet for gamuda. It owns stake 60% in the consortium who being appointed as project delivery partner for the Penang Transport Master Plan. One of the manifesto of Penang Pakatan Harapan for GE14 is to continue this project. The contract value is Rm33.6bil to be finished in 2030. All the necessary works has been done and ready to obtain financing from China for the project. They are waiting for the push button from federal government before commencement. Previously was difficult to get approval from ex-government.

I believe the review of infrastructure projects by new government will have least impact to Gamuda compare to other construction stocks.

Gamuda has previously announced she's not interested to participate in ECRL sub-contract due to poor profit margin. So, cancellation of ECRL will not have impact on Gamuda.

MRT3 has yet been announced and if it's most likely to be deferred and not on go, it will not have any financial impact on Gamuda.

For KL-SG HSR, I assume best scenario to be adopted by the new government is the revision of the target completion date or to be postponed further but not cancel for not burden the new government at this moment and so that they can have more time to restructure Malaysia debt. No cancellation means the government doesn't need to compensate the lost to the involved parties.

Lastly, the long awaiting project --> Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP) will get the approval to proceed immediately which is least possible under BN government.

===============
Profit assumption
===============

1. ECRL/ MRT3 has not been accepted/appointed to Gamuda, so no impact to Gamuda if it's cancelled.

2. KL-SG HSR
PDP fee earned from civil works for Gamuda portion = 6% x 50% x RM23bil = RMRM690m for 7 years (Profit before tax = RM98.6m/ year)

3. Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP)
PDP fee earned from civil works for Gamuda portion = 6% x 60% x RM30bil = RM1.08bil for 11 years (Profit before tax RM98.1m/ year)

In conclusion, assume the drop off KL-SG HSR, the loss of RM98.6m will be compensated by gain from PTMP of RM98.1m. So, the impact on Gamuda is minimal by my 2 cents.
