Eh, OSK is now relatively cheap compared to other counters. I merely took profits on MNRB as you know I bought it cheap when no one wanted to buy. As as contrarian I buy undervalued shares at a time when no one is interested and when later it moves up after attracting interest I merely take profits and look for other undervalued laggards. This is my investing style.
CharlesT, just simply bbased on EPS and Dividend yield. MNRB EPS is about half of Takaful. I also expect full year dividend for FY ending 31 March 2021 to be about half of Takaful too. That's my basis for my 1st level TP. In a few years down the road MNRB can potentially be as good as Takaful if they continue to achieve high growth in the untapped takaful insurance market. The government policy is supportive of this market. Perhaps MNRB should be closer to Takaful price if you consider the higher NTA per share compared to Takaful.
Theory on financial analysis is not good enough for MNRB ; we must look at practical buying support by traded volume and uptrend. Yes, there have been good uptrend for investment since two weeks ago.
What about Willowglen MSC ? It is even stronger pushing up as it has just been started to be pushed up by experienced significant players over it potential business ( AI system) , good dividend and better profit:). Previously, it had no trading volume .
Joghzhang, it is okay as long as we spread investments in good fundamental and potential stocks including MNRB.
Like Uzma ( different from other oil and gas counter, and suggest do not chase this stock at high prices and wait for correction) as well due to it has solar project awarded now that make big boys play different investment story.
The uptrend can not be a straight line . I think some profit taking along the way is normal and healthy . I am not worried as I am prepared to ride with it.
I still remember I make a strong buy statement on 25 Oct 2018 for MNRB. I buy all the way from top to low (RM0.46 / Mar 2020). No regret. Anyway, I have responsible to share my recent move for MNRB. I would like to inform all of you. I have been fully selloff my holding on recent hike. I strongly believe you are making nice profit if you follow me for MNRB.
PNB and Amanah Saham disposing some share in MNRB may not be a bad thing. Let's also think what's the motive behind and for whose benefits? Who is the buyers ? Not necessarily retail investors. Just to share what cross my mind.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....

Looks MNRB will hit RM2.00 on its EPS and outlook in short term of 6-month period as US market is stable and vaccination will be effective .
In June 2021, we will target glove share hopefully they remain weak in the next 3 months.
Good luck !
