Compared with exiting telco giant like, TM, Maxis, DIGI, Axiata, new comer YTLP market capital is smallest (only RM 12b), only less than third of Maxis and yet YTLP have most wide coverage of 4g network >80% vs. Maxis 4g network only 15%

Lets give sometime to YTLP, it only in operation just 3 year and last year is busy increase network to meet 1 BestariNet requirement (1BestariNet have potential customer >10m). These year onward, broadband should turnaround and start making handsome profit for YTLP

I have seen may Yes kiosk around shopping mall, promoting Yes broadband, and check their rate is just slightly lower than big telco offer, therfore, YTLP opt no scarifies profit margin to win market share, instead, emphasize on its excellent network coverage and introduce Yes broadband is link to 1 BestariNet to attract student parent to be on same network with their children

The impact on YTLP and wb are almost similar, YTLP entitle additional share based on 1 for 20, while wb entitle to lower exercise price from 1.21 to 1.14. Thus, i will keep both and stay invested, awaiting for 4g broadband + 1bestariNet to deliver its maiden profit these year.

As mention earlier, if YTLP awarded 3 B project, it will need to reserve cash to develop these RM 11b power plant, that is if based on 20 cash :80 bond, the capex will be as high as RM2.2b and the earning only able to recognize after 2018, which is expire date for wb. Therefore, it will much more better for WB now, as there will be no huge capex and YTLP cash pile can be better deploy to turnaround 4g broadband and start contribute earning to YTLP bottom line and continue sbb.
