Remark: buyback 19.89m share is the highest and record breaking volume, surpass previous high 18.48m share on 7/10

If without seller sell their share, how can YTLP can share buyback share? right... someone must sell in order for other to buy, but seller already more greedy now, demanding higher price, but all depend on FY whether to bid higher or not, or prefer slowly and steady accumulate share and keep strategy to buyback as much volume but at lowest possible cost.

Lets back 2-3 month ago, FY resume share buyback as low as 1.50, even FY willing to buyback any price below RM 2.00, but he will not buyback at lump sum and immediate push up the share price. Instead as smart business tycoon, sbb will be slow and steady, sen by sen accumulating from open market until now, this is what i always tag it as strategy to buyback as much volume but at lowest possible cost....Again, look forward, current share price even sbb at 1.86, but it manage to entice seller to give their stake and sell back to sbb and next day, if get lesser seller, bid 1 or 2 sen to entice another seller to sell share to them.

It happening all the time!? share price slowly and steady already uptrend from 1.50 to 1.86 now over the last 2 month and WB from 40sen to 63sen... :)

As i say before, my expectation to share swap is 1 YTLP: 1.5 YTL, as my fair value for YTLP is about RM 2.40. The ratio is again based on YTL current price of RM 1.55, if YTL share price rebound and trade above RM 2.00, of course the ratio will be smaller.

hng33 : I am a fan !!! I am thinking of accumulating more WB. Do you think 0.63 is still consider attractive or shall I wait for little consolidation ? Looking at the chart, it seems like overbought. There's no consolidation for both the mother and son. It seems very unhealthy to me. If not because of the sbb, I already cash out all. What do ya think ? Will there be a little consolidation coming before it continue to shoot up ? Thank you

The ultimate expected beneficial for corporate exercise is YTL crop, as all YTLP, WB share are to swap to YTL share. The privatization is earning accretion to YTL earning, if materialize, YTL may resume its own share buyback and later opt for share dividend, strengthening Yeoh family control over enlarge YTL group.

Although YTLP sbb resulting both YTLP and WB uptrend, but there were consolidation along the way, at 1.78 and 1.83. Currently YTLP is just set to renew another wave of uptrend, trying to testing RM 1.90, 1.95 and RM 2.00. Again, its just purely TA, the main factor lying on FY willingness to speed up buyback or remain slowly and steady, sen by sen accumulating.

If can closed 1 sen higher is good already, slowly and stead, sen by sen and importantly, still many seller willing to sell 1.86, even 1.85, so, YTLP sbb is more than happy to continue to absorb at these level.
