So far so good, both YTLP and WB should go up hand in hand. Even cannot reap already very handsome profit, but just look a unrealize paper profit is good enough and give a lot of comfort already. Again to fully realize expected profit, one must patience wait for upcoming corporate exercise.

Of course, if privatization via share swap, YTL will be main beneficial and price will up as its earning accretion. If the swap ratio is high, e.g. 1 YTLP: 1.5 YTL, every 1 sen increase in YTL translate to additional 1.5sen in YTLP

Yeoh family apart control YTLP via YTL, it also have direct stake in YTLP. Based on last year shareholding, Yeoh family have 7.72% stake in YTLP, and control more than 85% of ESOS share entitlement, and expect more than 80% in YTLP-WB. If fully exercise and convert, Yeoh family direct stake in YTLP will be more than 25%.

Beside tht yeoh buyback own share to avoid dillution of shareholding. There r another reason, reduce voting power of minorities. With enough votes, they dont need to care offer price is fair or not. There r rules in bursa to protect minoritirs, but stock market is still a game of shark eat fish. Nothing you can do but accept the offer price. Can ytlc minority shareholders do anything even some r refusing to sell until now?
