if annual eps able to reach 12-13cent , dy 7% still able to maintain , rolling 4qtr eps only 10++ how it going to maintain dy7% at current 1.35 market price ? dividen payout 100% only able to maintain dy7% , is that possible ? if eps 10 with 70% dv payout , u r only able to get dy5% with price 1.35 . if you want to get 7% dy with eps 10 , the price to buy should b RM1 if dv payout 70% , for me if padini drop to 1.3 i will collect it slowly . hope that nx quarter report eps and profit margin will be better that current report . if eps maintain every year then treat as u keep ur money in fd .

buying into co when it is making less profit ( not loss) n its share price also v low is a better bet than buying high coz the chances for it to recover in the next qtr is very promising given that its financial account will retrace back in better shape than before n thus making more profits n hence good capital appreciation n good div etc...

number12, you can put Parkson in the same category as AEON or The Store. But to compare Parkson and Padini makes no sense. If you want, compare Padini with VOIR, Cheetah, Bonia, Uniqlo or H&M.

The day for Padini will be forth coming given that the GST will benefit Padini more than others coz its price is in the affordable zone n hence cheaper GST .....unlike those a bit branded where u r paying like a Duke coz its price is really high n thus a higher GST.

Prediction on future target price with only one sentence without any supporting analysis is being too brave, unless you got insider information.....

I like the word " if " , may be rephrase as such will make it not so irritating to the eyes of padini supporters:-

consistent slow and steady dividend giver. folks are anticipating that Q1 numbers will be better due to pre-GST shopping. but i think the impact will jsut be marginal. how much clothes can u buy anyway.
