actually i have one cousin working as bank senior manager in Ipoh, told me TR is really underrated because of Hospital Bahagia! but TR itself is actually a serene place. good to stay, but not good for property price speculation! :)

that was the idea why NGV stations started from south to KL. lately only opening up in north! silly if you ask me as those with NGV catalytic converters in the north were shouting blue murder earlier! :)

（吉隆坡6日訊）消息人士披露，史格米集團（SCOMI，7158，主板貿服組）旗下油田服務臂膀――史格米石油工具（SCOMI OILTOOLS）獲得泰國勘產國際有限公司（PTTEP）頒給9千360萬令吉的工程。

據可靠業者消息向《星洲財經》披露，在上述工程合約下，史格米石油工具，將為泰國勘產國際有限公司在緬甸的油井，提供鑽井液及鑽井廢物管理設備以及相關工程服務。

消息人士指出，預料上述工程合約將在2012年第四季開始動工。

史格米石油工具是從2003年開始進軍緬甸市場，以便當地客戶提供鑽井液及鑽井廢物管理及相關工程服務。

該公司在緬甸主要客戶，除了泰國勘產國際有限公司外，也包括韓國的大宇集團（DAEWOO）。

《星洲財經》嘗試聯絡該公司發言人，以針對取得有關工程合約發展發表評論，惟至截稿時，尚未能取得聯絡。

據悉，史格米集團旗下的油田服務公司，在大馬的鑽井液及鑽井廢物管理服務市場控制了約50%市佔率，同時也把這項專業領域發展至海外市場。

預料該公司進行的重組計劃中，它旗下的油田服務業務將是主要專注發展的領域，特別是從發展東半球的蓬勃油氣業中，攫取更多合約中受惠
