This is only the first special dividend. They might propose another special dividend pay out in Sept or Oct 16. Still worth to hold it. The company business will also seen recovery start from quarter ended June'16.

@angielim because SIGN got compensation of 79 million in cash, you can find back the news of this and last month
@ktteh there is no 2nd bonus yet, but expecting

The next important wave to this company is the projects they are bidding, lets wait and see

Write a comment..There could be another land disposal this year. Namely , Bandar Enstek. As per sign proposal, they propose to buy land in Bandar Enstek For consideration of RM50 million back in year 2014. The value of that land already double since that. If sign choose to sell the land , they could made one off gain of disposal of land about RM50 million (or equivalent to RM0.20 cts per share)

Hi all sifu, I am new here try to seek some pointers. Just saw the special dividend declare and ex date 6th June. Meaning if I buy today 1000 units and I hold till ex date 6th and I will get pay RM100 by 30th June? If today price at 1.13 that is about 8.8% return on dividend! Am I right ? Thanks.

More great new is coming. Sign set up company in UK. Mean they have a great chance to clinch cabinet kitchen contract for Battersea phase 2 & phase 3 project. Sime Darby and sign good past business relationship also boost their chance to secure the project.

@angielim the next dividend I'm expecting is the profit dividend, just like previous years, not special dividend
I prefer they would use the rest of the compensation to maintain their business, especially if they can win the bidding project

The company not announcing much, 1. Keep cash for opportunity or new project 2. Might have another dividend later which higher than last year. If money given to shareholder, how the company going to grow, without growth, how the company share price going up?
