In my opinion, Iskandar hv a very high potential become like empty city....Johor population <2 million.... Unless they inject smtg that stimulate the town...

@masterpeace I bought at the 1.96 level after split. Looking at Liew's leadership (in the background or thru proxy) it is a big pull in factor for me. Looking forward to seeing RM 4 eventually

By the way the China cos r coming in droves to open up more housing in Iskandar n around JB coastal areas , the glut shall be a norm in future esp condo-type living like in Tian Jin in China ! The price itself is way beyond the means of ordinary JB folks , let alone foreigners who r also being hit badly after bought the properties here and a second whammy when our Ringgit shrank 15% against their currencies . Immediately after bought the property , its value in MR shrank 15% , the property prices adjusted downwards another 10-20% , given that the new batch of buyers r very selective and choosy coz there r abundant of choices around. With the introduction of car levy , new tolls etc , every entry means more has to pay compared b4 the launch , it is not fixed n may change with times , with the long queue and jammed esp in the Immigration areas , how many r willing to invest is also another question unless and until u got surplus cash to spare for another 10-15 years , it may be a good buy but not sure yet ? Just look at LOT1 , many of my friends were stuck with the previous uncompleted projects ; some even being lelong by the banks coz can't continue the payment as it was not occupied; it incurred untold losses? sometimes, not everything r rosy....Just be careful...
Buy property for stay or for rental ma(at good location ma).....hate those kiasu kiasi people when one project lunch who go and grab few units....learn how to play contra in stock market first b4 become a contra players in property market...LELONG LELONG..

Oil in pessimistic moods , going south may go as low as USD 30 if OPEC not doing anything n US continued pumping in shale oil n gas ? Russian dumped USD to safeguard Rubbles...n stop delivery of oil n gas to EU! Eminent of world war III? China slow down ! Commodity prices dropped! Currency weakens ! Goods expensive ! Jobs lost! ISIS ! Governments curb spending...GDP drops! Supply n demand also drop! More taxes n no salary adjustment ! Stocks fall Poverty index ups Chaos n uncertainty all around... Property going up , R u sure ????
