Siphon away my 0.6sen div as 21.52eps x 40%=8.6sen. Disappointed slightly as I forecast 9 sen with round up figure. It is still better than last year. Thks Tan Sri Leong and the mgt team.

Mahsing had being very quite for sometimes already. Before that, its price was very resilient and hardly saw it below 2.20. Its business prospect still very good. Many IB gave TP of over 3 for Mahsing.

Board Rejects Land Buy By Mah Sing Unit

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- The Estate Land Board has rejected Sanjung Tropika Development Sdn Bhd's proposed purchase of freehold land from Bistari Land Sdn Bhd

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Mah Sing Group Bhd said Sanjung Tropika, its wholly-owned unit, had proposed to purchase the land for RM411.16 million.

Mah Sing said Bistari Land would submit an appeal to the board.

The premier lifestyle developer said the land, located in Plentong, Johor Baharu was earmarked for a township named Bandar Meridin East.

"Bandar Meridin East has an estimated gross development value of RM5 billion comprising residential and commercial components along considerations for retail, recreational and even industrial elements," it said.

Sleeping for quite long already. Is time to wake up and show us some $. A strong fundamental co. With growing earning in the next 3 years, its share price eventually has to reflect its good results. Still not too late to buy if someone missed the 2.05 bargain price not long ago.
