Previous Land sale proceed I guess will come in progress for few qtrs to come....tis qtr already registered 18 mil under Other Operating Income...more to come for coming qtrs n tis should support its earnings....
Under agreement with Empire, MKland have given 2 option to either opt for JV or opt for cash disposal. For your information, gather from company staff, MKland have now opt to JV with Empire to develop the parcel of land already in which Mkland entitle share of profit through GDV.
All further earning weakness already discounted in its share price of 0.32...I believe its RNAV is close to 2.50 per share due to the sharp rise of its 230 undeveloped landbank in Damansara Perdana...deeply undervalued even with earning weakness...it is still a strong BUY fm me! Thumb UP!
Nemesis I think either u or Golden should write in to the management to suggest to them to replace what they so call professional advisor appointed to change mkland . I think they r not doing a good job .
Mkland is just a family business...So they got more room to be complacent...the only thing I don wish to hear fm the founder is taking the company private...If it happens then all of us will be on the losing side...Since it is a family business there is a risk of privatisation...
They could press it down to 0.20 in a poor property mkt sentiment, then take it private at 0.35 cts...forcing you to surrender all ur shares n pass it back to him...it happens quite often to cheat Shareholders... Beware!
Haha nemesis just FYI , I rated Mustapha daughter as much below standard as compare to person holding the same position . In time to come I believe the co have to joint venture with other group inorder to survive
Must joint venture with the big boys like Mah Sing, Empire Mammoth, Ecoworld or 101 properties...They ve the land but lack of expertise n innovative plan to deliver major project...it is good tat they sell all their Damansara land n return back to Shareholders...Don have to waste our time...

U know what Nick, Damansara Pdrdana is a hotspot, So mkland should ve developed huge city development like One City, Empire City or Icon City tat generates massive profits...So far they ve wasted it by developing medium end development tat only generated low profits...They have wasted its valuable land... If DP land falls under mahsing, I m sure they will turn the jewel land into a goldmine at least as gigantic as Mid Valley development...WHY??? Tell me why?
Dream on Nick...They don ve expertise n experience to execute such big project...their low cost project in Perak is really waste of time to develop as it generates lousy profits...I hope their management will b reshuffled soon...
