To hold shares on long term basis, must know what type of shares n whether they are fundamentally strong n profitable. So not every share can be kept. Not sure if tsh fall into this category of fundamentally strong.

calvintaneng, do you think Warren buffet principle can apply to most of us? he holds quite substantial shareholding in the company. and recently he invest in oil and gas company , to me O&G is categories under "old economy model" industry type , so i strongly believe he is invest in the "wrong company"

I know Warren bought Occidental and Chevron

I think more towards gas than oil

Oil will be replaced by renewable energy not gas

Natural gas is where we get nitrogen fertilizer and fertilizer is recession proof as food is recession proof

Now since buffet also said he will invest in farmland and not Bitcoin I believe in the Malaysia contact if he operates here Palm oil share should be in his portfolio

In any case we have two Value investors in Malaysia holding palm oil
