Armada needs to reward its investors with some dividend before more institutional buyers come in to support the low valuations. While we are happy to see the management keep paring down its debt aggressively with its strong net operating cash, the fund managers are less keen with stocks that have not paid dividend for a long time.
Yinson has got BP Angola FPSO (no contract yet, but exclusivity discussion stage now). With that, it should put Bumi Armada the prime candidate for Eni's Angola FPSO. Yinson is kinda stretched at the moment with up to 4 ongoing projects. Bumi Armada just has one ongoing project which is almost the finishing line (Armada Sterling V in India).
nikicheong, yinson only got 3 ongoing project, not 4, and 1 will be completed first half of 2023. Angola is still in discussion stage. Yinson is also eying ENI.
nikicheong, how many % do you think armada can pay down the borrowing within thesse two year?do you expect revenue can improve 15% this coming quarter ?
Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd along with its subsidiaries is engaged in exploration and development of oil and gas. It has operations in Middle East, Norway and Oceania regions. Repsol S.A. is a Spanish multinational energy and petrochemical company based in Madrid. It is engaged in worldwide upstream and downstream activities. The company announced on 1st June 2021 that it has agreed to sell its operated assets in Malaysia and in Block 46 CN in Vietnam to Hibiscus Petroleum. Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd said on Tuesday (Jan 25) that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Peninsula Hibiscus Sdn Bhd had successfully completed the acquisition of the entire equity interest in Fortuna International Petroleum Corporation (FIPC) from Repsol. Hibiscus Petroleum noted in a statement that out of the purchase price of US$212.50 million (about RM890.06 million), the net amount paid at completion was US$123.65 million after taking into account various adjustments, including the deposit paid of US$15 million. The company also made the following announcements: Hibiscus expects threefold increase in o&g output due to Repsol deal (Repsol Exploración, S.A) Repsol Asset Acquisition: Completed the trans formative acquisition on 24 January 2022. Assets are expected to almost triple the Group’s net daily oil, gas and condensate production. New Group Vision and Mission: Aim to achieve target production of 35,000-50,000 boe/day. Hibiscus Petroleum has good profit growth prospect and undervalued based on 2 factors: 1 Acquisition of Rapsol assets in Malaysia and in Block 46 CN in Vietnam to Hibiscus Petroleum. 2 Due to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, oil and gas prices are surging up higher and higher as shown on the chart below.
Hisbiscus reported EPS 15.32 sen for the quarter ending March and EPS 2.42 for its previous quarter ending December 2021. Its next quarter ending June should be much better because of its new acquisition of Rapsol’s assets and the increased oil production due to the Ukraine war. When the company announces its result before the end of August its share price should shoot through the roof.
During the first half of 2022, average gross production was 27,698 Boepd, which is above the top end of full year guidance of 22,000 to 26,000 Boepd. The floating, production, storage and offloading vessel continues to deliver top quartile performance, with production efficiency of 92% and water injection efficiency of 95%.
Armanda profit NOT rely on crude oil price at all.
Armanda earnings is source from long term rental fees on its FPSO that service oil producing company. Oil price however indirect affect the ability of oil-producing company to pay Armanda on its service rental fee.
The higher the oil price, the more stable oil producing company financially, then, the more likely it will extend Armanda after expire long term service contract.
Aside prompt rental fee receivable, armanda profit margin also affected by USD movement. the higher the exchange rate, the higher the profit in RM profit as all rental fees is in USD denominated
Armanda gross profit margin is now as high as 48%, and these profit margin is expect to expand further due to strengthening USD denominated earning + continue decreasing interest expense due to consistent quarterly repayment debt
Najib whisked away in black SUV to begin 12-year-jail sentence, as daughter vows, ‘Bossku does not end here’ By Soo Wern Jun Tuesday, 23 Aug 2022 7:05 PM MYT
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 — After more than four years of being on trial for misappropriating funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd and losing his final appeal against his conviction today, former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was seen departing the High Court to begin his 12-year-jail sentence.
The decision today marks a historic moment for Malaysian politics as the country will witness for the first time a former prime minister sent to prison.
"I’m sorry,” were his last words heard when he met with his supporters at the rear entrance of the Palace of Justice…..
Results out on Friday noon. I’m expected a solid set of results. Net profit of at least RM200mil for the quarter. The operating FPSOs have had great performance, especially Kraken. Maybe some positive developments on Armada Sterling V which is on course for a October 2022 sail away based on Sembcorp Marine’s recent results. Plus one or two additional good news (Armada Claire status, Mumbai Port FSRU status, new project etc).
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
