KUALA LUMPUR: Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) has awarded the viaduct work package V201 for the construction of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) line to Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd.

The contract is worth RM1.21bil.

Anyone have any thoughts with regards to the various campaigns cropping up to boost property sales in Malaysia? I've noticed it being done by a few others besides Sunway.

Will this inject some level of confidence into the property market, or just the opposite?

Act as a cushion to help in soft landing. I do not think others are doing, gforce2. You may check their websites to see. This act certainly can help some, but not all. As long as 50% take up rate (with bank loan and this special help), the Company should break even. The extra is profit.

Company must have sufficient reserve if wants to have this type of boosting campaign. Sunway is one of the company which has strong cash flow. Most developer companies are with heavy debt and have limited cash flow to follow.
