It is slightly different from SERB because Karim is a majority shareholder, that is not easy to be removed. In this the shareholder is MOF, they have the right to call an EGM to replace the full board by voting them out.

no need to worry about Sapura Energy. It will be saved by hook or by crook. Any rescue plan is a positive signal already. Mind that Petronas current President was also a highly paid executive, being its CFO during Sapura Energy good days. For sure Petronas will discuss a better contract terms with Sapura.

Saya tak faham mengapa cadangan saya dan rancangan kerajaan untuk selamatkan Sapura boleh dijadikan isu perkauman?
Ya, Sapura dibina oleh usahawan bumiputera sehingga pernah menjadi syarikat perkhidmatan minyak dan gas kedua terbesar dunia dengan nilai RM30 bilion.
Ya, Sapura telah dijadikan syarikat GLC milik PNB dan pelabur ASB oleh kerajaan PH pada tahun 2019.
Tapi Sapura ini amat penting dari segi pembangunan negara dan kelangsungan Petronas serta sektor minyak dan gas negara.
Ianya juga antara bilangan kecil syarikat Malaysia yang boleh dikira sebagai MNC bertaraf global.
Petronas bersama sektor minyak dan gas negara adalah penyumbang utama kepada hasil kerajaan setiap tahun.
Kerajaan pula memberi pelbagai bantuan kepada Rakyat serta melaksanakan pelbagai projek pembangunan yang memanfaatkan seluruh negara tanpa mengira kaum atau agama.
Dan sekiranya Petronas atau kerajaan berjaya memulihkan Sapura, keuntungan besar itu akhirnya akan dikongsi dengan semua Rakyat juga melalui perbelanjaan dan bantuan kerajaan yang lebih besar.
Syarikat Sapura juga mengupah orang bukan bumiputera.
Dan tiada siapa yang halang kaum bukan bumiputera untuk membeli saham Sapura dan menerima manfaat sekiranya syarikat itu berjaya dipulihkan.
Saya juga perhatikan ramai komen bukan bumiputera yang berterima kasih pada saya setelah mengaut keuntungan susulan harga saham Sapura naik lebih berganda selepas debat saya dengan Anwar.
Bagi mesej Whatsapp sebelah kanan yang mengadu bahawa Sapura mahu pemaafan hutang sebanyak 75% (RM7.6b) dari bank-bank tempatan, saya nak beritahu bahawa ini adalah rancangan asal pelan penstrukturan semula syarikat itu sebelum saya bangkitkan isu Sapura.
Saya kurang setuju dengan pemaafan hutang yang begitu besar sekali (iaitu 3 kali ganda kerugian bagi Genting HK) sebab antara peminjam utama kepada Sapura adalah Maybank milik PNB, RHB milik KWSP dan CIMB milik Khazanah Nasional.
Saya percaya bahawa Sapura mampu membayar balik pinjaman bank sebagaimana Sapura pernah mengurangkan hutang dari RM18b ke RM10b dalam tempoh 5 tahun lalu sekiranya diberikan peluang untuk terus beroperasi berdasarkan:
- keadaan sektor minyak dan gas dunia yang sudah memulih,
- kontrak bernilai RM8b dalam tangan; dan
- keperluan Petronas yang telah gandakan perbelanjaan CAPEX ke RM50 bilion tahun ini setelah kurang melabur pada tahun-tahun lalu ketika harga minyak dunia rendah.
Sebab itu, pihak sebelah sana patut hentikan permainan propaganda perkauman untuk menghasut Rakyat dan menanam kebencian antara kaum.
Kenapa nak jadikannya sebagai isu racist?

Guys, here’s my rationale;
1) Retailers, BN, UMNO, Genting, Jibby and Sapura loyalists - already in the game
2) Institutional investors (Banks, Mutual funds, Foreign investors, etc) will be in after the official announcement. They don’t enter risk trades until they are sure.

Once (2) joins the club, price action goes vigorously high.
