It is easy for Najib and Zahid to talk about bailing out Sapura when they are no more in government. Let them start a crowdfunding, put in his 2.6B donation and his darling wife's diamond ring and Birkins to kick start the bailout. And i3 forummers who have been reporting profits daily from trading Sapura can chip in too.

The present PM may not look smart but he may be the smartest yet. Food AP gone under him.

The people was without eggs 3 months ago, and now without chickens. Next, no wheat and no bread. Do they care about Sapura going bankrupt when all the basics have gone spiraling out of control?

If you are PM or FM, would you give 2 or 3 Bil to Sapura, while announcing that subsidies will be taken away?

Charles Santiago's proposal of giving B60 group RM200 instead of bailing out Sapura have gained a lot of support.

BTW Sapura was given RM3.7 Bil by PNB in 2019 as working capital. What happened to the money? All utilised to bayar gaji 20,000 staffs? How much more do they want?

Haiyo, downturn for 7 years, of course burning cash to keep operations afloat. Now good times, and time to ensure it doesn’t close shop. O&G got hit hard because of pandemic, world recovering from it now.

Sapura must bite the bullet and go for severe retrenchment and remove all half past six management staff. Employ multicultural employees instead of being a racist employer. They use public money contributed by all races but decalre cmpany as Bumi, wtf!

#cashflow, the high price of oil is just like glove price spiking 2 years back.

Oil price can hover 70-80 and it’s still very profitable for O&G industry, because their project economics are priced at 30-40. Trust me because I am in O&G sector. At current rate, they are making filthy profits.

Personally downgrade to 5-6 cents.sapura eng took to much cheap profit margin too much.many things increase nowadays.
Its need cash in excess rm 5 billion or petronas renogotiate the projects up by at least 30 percent.other also might follow.but it depend.
