Dompeilee, happy you adopted a right profit strategy. This is my costly value trap lesson, I really didn't expect a share can stay at IPO price for decade despite multi assets disposals. =) Anything possible in stock trading.

@TheContrarian, to maintain listing status, I understand that certain ratio of revenue/paid up capital need to be complied . I think the capital reduction is trying to meet this requirement.

Anyone know where they put the retain profit of 999m? If they put it in bank , with interest rate of 2.x% something,it should generate about 20m a year to cover any losses from it hotel business and cover up some working capital right?

Retained earnings is just an accounting entry. It is not mean money hide inside the Company.

2 hotel, a loan company and land waiting for jv with other developer, and the company have no intention to aquire new business,I don't think it need to be listed in bursa to raise funds to maintain the remaining business.

kseng is a company with much more business though
