@speakup, yes this guy really is. When ex-date announced,he said limit up. It didn't happen. And now he twisted his words, saying it will hit limit up after the ex-date. If he doesn't sell by then, reckon he will cry like a baby.

Whether the 40sen payment is as dividend or capital reduction the end effect to shareholders is the same . What matters most is the quantum .

If the 40¢ is a special dividend, the stock would have at least move up 25¢. Since it's a capital repayment, IT'S STAGNANT! Can't even gain a cent.

If investing are formula driven, everyone will be average. MPHB successfully unlucky RM1 per ordinary share from insurance disposal, hypothetically recovered most of price we paid for the shares.
Next catalyst are the plans to monetize land banks, Pengerang proposed in budget fy23 to be given special status and incentives for chemical & petrochemical is a great booster, who owned the largest land bank there?

Why exit when no debt, future is only left with upsides.

Can anyone be so sure if the share price would move up if 40sen is paid as dividend rather than capital repayment ? The share price didn’t respond may be for a different reason. Upto everyone to speculate.

Mphbcap move 0sen in that 5 days, despite 40sen dividend.

Recently I passed by Hotel Flamingo at Jalan Ampang, the exterior paints was refurbished. Seems they very proactive spending the proceeds =) don't think there will be another special dividend till next big disposal .
