LA holders won't get any dividend, however, if there's a 1-2 sen discount to mother share, most ppl will chase LA to profit on the 1-2 sen discount and covert to mother share to grab another 2 sen dividend

I see it is worth conversion if and only if after successful conversion the mother share price is still on the way moving up. Otherwise wasting energy and time.

NTA = 0.765
CONVERSION PRICE = 0.13
CURRENT LA PRICE = 0.415
LA DIV = 1% (BASED ON NOMINAL VALUE 0.13)

0.765 - 0.415 -0.130 = 0.220

0.220/0.415 *100% = 53.01%

0.13*1% = 0.0013

0.0013/0.415 = 0.31%

53.01 + 0.31 = 53.32% 好...

还是

MOTHER SHARE = 0.555
DIVIDEND = 0.02

0.02/(0.415 + 0.13 + 0.01) *100% = 3.60%

0.765 - 0.555 = 0.210

0.210/0.555 = 37.84%

3.6 + 37.84 = 41.44%


我又不是要股权... 利益最重要... 这样你还要换母股吗?
明年可能发生...今年...LA 较好...

LA 要换母股...需要加 RM13 PER LOT,

barbarian, i suggest you read all starting from page 1 to 87,from 2012 until today. If you want to know a company's risk and rewards, there's really no short cut though :)

seph, i ask you one very important question. do you think Mayland accumulating the LA now at the low price now? look at the volumn and price. It is their opportunity to increase their shareholdings in their future play. since i believe some of the people not very sure bout the conversion rate, they sell with discount :D
