A: The number of rigs has come down. We had more than 30 rigs at one time in Malaysian waters.
By year-end, we will have just between 15 and 19 rigs.

The only have 2 rigs in operation out of about 8. One rig is finishing its project soon, left one more in operation only..... got this info from one of the drillers... go figure...

i ignore ALL TPS from stockbrokers..bcoz they r either too academically orientated, theoretical, n mostly too IDEAL to be realised..n the greatest sin is that they r most of the time out of the "relevant" price movement cycle, esp with cyclical stocks such as oil n gas etc..thus HOPELESS n UNRELIABLE..n for me, our own personal TP is best!!! otherwise glaring opportunities can be missed..

but if one has the "specific/key" technical knowledge n respond to it..its really rewarding in the current "reversal" whilst fundamentals r deteriorating where everybody in the world knows months ago!!! i too wish i had vacuumed ALL of the oil n gas cos n take/wait to take my profits now..a massive quick 50% return (at least) in the last 1 month!!!! so no need the waste of time hypes n analysis..i wd rather position myself "if this can continue much further" or otherwise???

but i capitalised on umwog (n Coastal too)..ALL recorded in simple..BUY n SELL postings..
round1 = refer to my 3 postings 15/9, 17/9 n EXIT on 21/9
round2 (current) = refer 7/10, 9/10 n still HOLDING..

note their quick run-ups..rather than running down to the TPs....why????
pls figure out..i dont have the capacity!!
maybe EPF is buying now??? if so great ma!!!..i can SELL to them for my 2nd wave holdings (with my balls in too)....

sold ALL of Round2 position at aver 1.385 bought on 7/10 n 9/10 bet 1.17 -1.20..(refer to the resp. postings)..so so so yummy...n so so easy...

I am indeed surprised oil counters didn't go down last friday with the bearish oil prices.Wonder how it would react on Monday with friday's oil price movement which touch intra-day near the $40 level.

many investors may stand optimistic that oil price will raise anytime...some believes it is bottom... many say yes and many say no,,last Friday, generally oil stocks down..very volatile...tomorrow, i guess many oil stocks should go down...by how much, we don't know. current news on oil price not very convincing, so many prefer sell...
