billy .. thanks so much for the link !! hmm 3 peaks and a domed house .. interesting but i still see waves :) 3 is our sw3 of 3rd then 5 is a truncated sw5 of 3rd then 6,7,10 is a 4th wave flat correction then 23rd is the 5th wave and finally followed by an A wave (24 to 28) zigzag pattern .. a sharp correction indeed cuz the 5 waves structure have completed its course :) i took profit from 3A already .. ah con very cheapskate .. when there is profit i sure sapu first !!

Today I learn a very painful lesson and want to share with the rest. During middle of March I bought some units of counter share by looking at the chart, it seems like if the counter break the resistance, the counter will have another high. VERY UNLUCKY, immediately the next day I bought the share, bad news come out, and of cause, the share price drop sharply, and I thought I have the holding power and so I didn't n CUT LOSS, but I average down, and hoping the price can stabilize and re-bounce like what happen to AirAsia. The share price of the counter keep dropping but I didn't sell due to there were still buy call from those investment brokerage house. I sold the share today and lost 50%.

I am still learning when to cut lost and when not to cut lost. There was one time I cut lost on SUPERMX when the price drop to RM1.90, and the share price immediately rocket high to RM2.30, RM2.50, RM3.00.

Bought hsi-hw @.525, it looks like the bear will be in control for quite sometimes as the HSI futures is ~130 points lower to the cash. It seems that what I observed is going to happen next week.

Better sell first and ask question later. You can always buy them back . Maybe not using the term "CUT LOSE" will help you (it sounds too negative). Instead, convince yourself to use the term "Sell High, Buy Low" (sounds more positive).

Selling like this should become a second nature.

HSI bearish sentiment is too strong, difficult to recover. Tonight USA employment data is not going to be good. I would suggest to sell C first today.

wei,to me cut loss is like eating porridge,i do it easily...
.if unsure of cut loss point,make it a habit to cut if you lose 10%...take care of ur wallet n in turn it will take care of you.

the only protection you have against the sharks is 'cut loss'.
