Plantation stocks : Time to invest

All the writings in this weblog are mainly for PLEASURE reading purposes. I am in NO position to recommend a call(BUY/SELL). Please check with those know-hows before you make a decision. Yes, I am just a learner, with only five years experiences in KLSE. So, please BEAR with me.
TDM (Tun Dr Mahathir) : At low 27cents now, from 72 cents. ex-div and split 1 : 5 previously.

EPS : from positive 1.22 .... to negative 0.17.
During 2008 crash : It was trading at 13-15cents level.
THPlant (TH = Tabung Haji) : closed at 66.5cents ... lower than 2008 crash level (which around 80cents). Is it cheap?

many -ve factors have yet to price in, i.e min wage, foreign worker levy, new accounting report mfrs9, cpo price downtrend, export down continuously...

Propensity is very low for china to top up additional import from m'sia. Macam mana plantation counter can make big money. So rerating won't happen.

Pls dont link TDM to Tun M, he has nothing to do with this Terengganu state owned company, which is obviously badly managed, even KWAP is slowly selling down. But it will not go bankrupt,bcause supported by the state, dont see any near-term prospects here.

Plantation stock is like any other sector. It is cyclical. In my case, I am buying when people is selling. Do your homework, when you buy palm oil stock, you are buying their land and asset too.
Dutaland recently sold their land for RM70000/Hektar, but you can buy very well managed oil palm with half the price
