Yes, we'll take the gomen to task. If the Pakatan Harapan government does not implement certain key reforms by June this year, former Bersih chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan said the people will “go to the streets” again.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2020-02-08 18:43 | Report Abuse

PH's trilemma:

The gomen either wishes to get rid of the deep state, discriminatory policies and corrupt leaders, and is unable; or is able, and is unwilling; or is neither willing nor able, or is both willing and able.

If PH is committed to prevent further deterioration of the country, but is not able to, then the leaders are incapable.

If PH is able, but not willing, then PH is malevolent.

If PH is both able and willing, then whence cometh deep state, toxic people and bigotry.

If PH is neither able nor willing, then why call the gomen of the day?

Dear all,
Gratitude/Grateful is many things to many people. It is wonder; it is appreciation; it is looking on the bright side of a setback; it is fathoming abundance; it is thanking someone in your life; it is thanking God; it is ‘counting blessings.’ It is savoring; it is not taking things for granted; it is coping; it is being gracious of their past (i.e., think of positive childhood memories); it is being gracious for the present (i.e., taking time to be present and enjoy); it is being grateful for what’s to come (i.e., hopeful and optimistic of the future)

People who are grateful are likely to be happier, hopeful and energetic, and they possess positive emotions more frequently. Individuals also tend to be more spiritual, forgiving, empathetic and helpful, while being less
depressed, envious or neurotic

Thank you

Ok. Take the history of Cambodia and Polpot's ruling

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2020-02-08 21:27 | Report Abuse

Bad ruler of Cambodia

The brutal regime, in power from 1975-1979, claimed the lives of up to two million people. Under the Marxist leader Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge tried to take Cambodia back to the Middle Ages, forcing millions of people from the cities to work on communal farms in the countryside.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2020-02-08 21:29 | Report Abuse

During his time in the remote north-east, Pol Pot had been influenced by the surrounding hill tribes, who were self-sufficient in their communal living, had no use for money and were "untainted" by Buddhism.

When he came to power, he and his henchmen quickly set about transforming Cambodia - now re-named Kampuchea - into what they hoped would be an agrarian utopia.

Anyone thought to be an intellectual of any sort was killed. Often people were condemned for wearing glasses or knowing a foreign language.

Hundreds of thousands of the educated middle-classes were tortured and executed in special centres.

Malaysia government not Pol Pot...malaysia achieved some thing to proud, that is... a peaceful transfer of power

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2020-02-08 21:32 | Report Abuse

A bad ruler with absolute power

The most notorious of these centres was the S-21 jail in Phnom Penh, Tuol Sleng, where as many as 17,000 men, women and children were imprisoned during the regime's four years in power.

Hundreds of thousands of others died from disease, starvation or exhaustion as members of the Khmer Rouge - often just teenagers themselves - forced people to do back-breaking work.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2020-02-08 21:34 | Report Abuse

ENDING?

The Khmer Rouge government was finally overthrown in 1979 by invading neighour armies.

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2020-02-08 21:39 | Report Abuse

Bad ruler came to power in a chaotic nation

The Khmer Rouge army was slowly built up in the jungles of Eastern Cambodia during the late 1960s.Although it originally fought against Sihanouk, on the advice of the CPC, the Khmer Rouge changed its position and supported Sihanouk after he was overthrown in a 1970 coup by Lon Nol who established the pro-United States Khmer Republic. Despite a massive American bombing campaign against them, the Khmer Rouge won the Cambodian Civil War when they captured the Cambodian capital and overthrew the Khmer Republic in 1975.

Haha
Don’t take qqq3 seriously he just likes to provoke people with his provocative claim.

In the land of blind, the one-eyed man is a king. When the whole China were blinded by Chairman Moa’s little red book luckily there was this France trained leader Deng able to use his France train one-eye to lead China through a series of far-reaching market economy reforms.

Arab Spring upraising and US war intervention in Middle East had resulted in fall of many Bad Leaders but what follow was chaos and hostility because no inclusive leaders emerges to replaced this bad leaders thus chaos and hostility is inevitable.

We should be grateful that Malaysians were able to peacefully remove a Kleptocracy and Corrupt government in GE14. Winning GE14 is the beginning for change and when leaders fail to lead the change then society need to be more vocal and take the lead and make the leaders follow.

Thank you

Be grateful that ........

.....while we enjoy watching gymnastic to ease our own mental stress from our vocational or professional work, there are certain kinds of people who are virtually wolves in sheep skin. Ignobly and sinfully, they lustfully scheming the sport person's physical body, instead of seeing the sportmanship inside them.

Bagai membuka pekung di dada
Ahli sukan kata pula menggoda
Bertahun-tahun bertapa sia-sia
Pemikiran senang terpesong saja

They must be barred from attending, watching or officiating any sport event. There is no two ways about this. No one can be certained of any amount of psychotherapy or cognitive behavioural can be of help to this like-minded group of people.

Be grateful when....

Is it really the beautiful girls who wear beautiful attire and do all their routine that are disturbing? OR IT IS NOT RATHER HOW THE VISUAL IMAGE BEING PROCESSED IN THE MIND OF THE WOLVES IN SHEEP SKIN THAT MATTERS?

"HOW LONG MORE TO IGNORE AND PROCRASTINATE before taking serious action by removing these weak-minded ones who neither mentally fit nor psychologically suitable to continue their jobs as influencers?

Be grateful when....

.....there is lack of an urgent reform to remove all the wolves in sheep's clothing IMMEDIATELY right after GE14.

.....everyone MUST PRETEND THAT THEY ARE THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO WORK IN DEVELOPING SPORT EXCELLENCE or other educational stuff of the young

.....the new gomen fail to stop the jeopardy NOW"

Wise sayings: To a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Similarly, to a man with outdated logic, and void of the enlightened conscience of the current century is nothing but a wolf in the sheep's clothing!!
