BNM OPR is maintain at 3%, finance sector NIM is safe for now. So any upside or downside is limited for this 3 months until the next speculation when BNM convenes another meeting at 5 Nov.

US fed is a market benchmark, other Central Banks will likely follow. Stocks and bond will benefit but not finance stocks. This will cut into banking sector NIM and i think hurt most in Fixed Income and the derivatives. This time fed purpose of cutting is to boost inflation by a bit. Since BNM already said no moves for this quarter, wont have an effect yet. But sooner or later BNM will most likely follow, keep an eye on Nov 5 if not Jan 2020. Downward pressure on cimb should have been seen but its maintaining the price, weird flex by fund managers.

Prinsiptek: Enters JV to develop Langat 2 water treatment plant. Prinsiptek Corp (PCB)'s unit has teamed up with QSE Construction SB to develop the Langat 2 water treatment plant and water reticulation system in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The group said it has entered into a JV agreement with QSE for the project. "It is an opportunity for PCB Group to capitalise on its experience and expertise in construction projects, which is in line with PCB Group's strategy to develop and grow its construction segment," it said. The project, which was awarded to PCB is worth RM24.9m. PCB is entitled to 92.5% of the contract sum and will be funding the working capital for the project, while QSE will be the contract manager for the water treatment plant and water reticulation system. Lodgement date is at october so 1 more week before anything. Ex date also in november, still so far, i think by that time the price could be near or at drp price 4.6++. May as well just take div in cash form.

DRP is it means If you are holding CIMB shares they will give you an option to get additional shares based on the amount you currently holding on a discounted price? Like they said at around 4.6+

DRP only works if you are investing long term.
You will get a form (or your can print 1 from Bursa).
Options.
1) Do nothing. You will get the dividends in cash.
2) Fill in the form. Affix a Rm10 setem hasil. Send it back. You have 2 weeks to do this. You will get the shares. Any balance that cannot full-fill the full-shares are then paid in cash.
For odd lots, you can contact your remisier. They can sell it for you (usually makes sense only when you are also selling the regular lots on the same day so both transactions are combined as 1).
