1. Today rights issue become share. (People sell)
2. Today ex-dividend. (23 cents reduction)

If you bought yesterday & keep checking the price today, you are in the wrong counter. Some shareholders that I know, actually don't know the share price lohhh...
You just need to check few things .
Annual report, quarterly results, company announcement, that's all.

JT TW, being sincere I just told teckloong & all the while to me 1lot is 1000 units as I belong to the "older group". Only a few years back when certain counters are so expensive then only SC changed the term 1lot equivalent to 100 units and partly also for higher volatility. If you treat PBB as your FD will you just buy 100 units? Anyway, there is nothing to lie and just invest based on your own holding power...

stephy, at your almost retire age I think 2 choices for you. One is to keep the 2,000 shares in your safe and receive their yearly dividends i.e. almost RM1,000 per year if you do not need a lump sum cash. The second choice is to dispose 400 shares every year after you retired. This will provide you additional 5 years will $10,000 extra as your pocket money.

Usually there is 1-3 days delay in payment of dividend .. But no worries you will receive your dividend

Beginner, just check.Received mine on 20/08/2014. Auto bank in if you sign a consent form and provide your bank account to your remiesier.
