Roughly answer some question here.

Doesn't matter the day of clearing or what. It depends on the day you done the trade. After ex-date which is today, it doesn't matter anymore as only holder before ex date will be entitled for the repayment. So you can see the price adjustment accordingly today but closing price depends on market sentiment.

If you bought Alcom at 1.66 on 21/8, your breakeven price is 1.34. If you sell Alcom today at 1.34, you have to pay contra loss of 32c. But you will get back your 32c on 11/9. You lose the brokerage fees only. Therefore you need to pick up Alcom shares bought on 21/8.Alcom will move up gradually.
