Michael - Chan, i disagree with your notion that we are lucky price could fallen below 4 in 2023! Remember 2023 results where way better than 2022 and price was higher! Makes no sense. According business recovery share price should be around 5.60 + for sure only reason is these wretched purchase of additional investment in empire resorts and other party related transactions ….this has caused immense distrust ….and is the main reason for under performance ….! We need to be honest about all this. The results will be better than 2023 unless there unforeseen charge in P&L such as degraded assets!

Due to its poor performance, there is no point in delving deep into the financial report of the past 2 years. The performance has been consistently dismal even in q1 and q2 of 2023.. the same happened here in SGX, many blue chips consumer stocks, S reits have underperformed in recent years. Despite slightly better performance, these stocks share price have hit its lowest point last year and recently...and has remained low since then

@Riaz1954 2023 results is already better that 2022 before Q4 2023 results is out. Unless Genting incurs 1b loss :p
Chill, some dislike the fact that more money is pumped into Empire, but there is also the fact that it's coming to an end now. Here's to hoping that Empire will also turn profitable soon. :)

Foreign funds are net buying stocks listed in KLSE everyday since February month.
I hope a bull market is coming to KLSE.
We have not seen a bull market in KLSE since 1993/4.
I hope it is a real one.
I hope to see Genting breaks new high (5.02 ATH) soon.

Boss sells we do t get to hear about it until after case in point when Taurx news was announced, price shots up well into 5.30+ and it boss u loaded and we were told after the disposal ….too late ……price already collapsed. Boss gets advantage of first move ! Never real time! This happened on few occasions. Let’s see. Laws need to be changed for significant disposal …unloading 500 m USD is not small change when foreign inflows of 150m usd is regarded by Bursa as significant foreign inflow!

Fair value using recognised valuation tools suggest the price should be 5.78 and the net asset value is 8.40 so this along with improving business environment and hopefully lowering of interest rates should mean share price rise. But as I said these positive metrics do not address owner disposing shares at will without warning ……or investing in poor assets…..this has created mistrust …only really good hope is Taurx as it will be potentially new income stream. Incidentally Miami land sale has gone quiet…when it was announced the price went up which followed by dumping of shares and then annocument that deal,was off! Very iffy.
