Good discussion what the real issue is here. We are beginning to understand what is the cause of underperformance. The business post CV is recovering well, but the issue is the boss holding majority of shares and therefore minority shareholders are impotent. He can’t be removed as CEO and even business deals such Empire resorts transfer to Genting cannot be challenged nor can dividend payments …as the boss is in charge firmly in all business units as well Group company. This in itself is highly unusual. It is very frustrating being shareholder as we all want to make company from a business that has done well in the past. To make money we need Genting to operate as a listed company operating in open market conditions!

As a minority shareholder we need to be vigilant of big sell done followed by announcement on Taurx for example…this can happen in March or perhaps later. Public announcement as well trade suspension will controlled by Genting .. this is also a possibility, who knows.

We know 2023 full year will generate higher profit than FY 2022, however the final quarter may show lower profitability …as was the issue with Singapore ..with no previous warning or indication ….as it should have been flagged during 3rd Qtr results! Also no update on Miami land sale. All gone quite which suggest to me there were really no real buyers in the first place just interest.

It's true, there's nothing to worry about.
The reduction in GenS contribution by about 150m can easily be covered by GenM with 50m and RWLV with another 100m

RWLV just needs to add another US$20 million which is approximately RM100 million and then everyone will be happy.

嘿嘿 还是别想得太美。论能力，魄力，他都输他老爸九条街。没能力魄力，那怕还有点运气也是好的。可他连那点运气都没有。投两三个赌牌，没一个成的。当初讲和21 century fox 合作，最后美国佬连仙都不仙他，搞到一锅熟。讲做啥游轮之王，结果公司被他搞到bankruptcy. 也许在人angmoh眼里，他就是一个笑话。但凡他还有一丁点骨气，就做给别人看，我.... 是行的。就知道在我们这些小股东这里抠，算啥个老板。我们这也是幸苦攒的血汗钱好吧。每张撕开也是有血有泪的好吧。

Thats why I say external factor okay. Internal factor not okay. Now is still considered as monopoly. Once 云顶王城 launch few years later, It will be more complicated and much much harder to grab visitors.

Yes, I have sold all my shares but i can buy back anytime before the AGM. I cant do that alone but with a full force we in unity can vote the irresponsible CEO who never take care of the minority shareholders and always decide big decision on his own and his cronies for their own benefits. As for Taurx, you can forget abt it because forever postphoning and never accepted year after year. Anyone support me? Just wait for the results. By right it should make tons of money looking at the visitors in Genting Highlands and casinos but The CEO always give reasons for earning less and cause the price to drop or fluctuate and never go past RM5.00 and maintain the price for even one or two days.

Delusional to try n vote out a 44% shareholder. Just accept that the company is being run like this, thats why share price has been on steep discount to NTA for years liow. If not happy with the way things are handled, then dont buy the shares. For once, taurx AGM provided detailed monthly timeline for document submissions, meetings, final submission, etc with UK & FDA.

On same token of very bad there would have been lot of sales? Probably profitable but not in with expectations! Our expectations based on results to date is that the price should be 5.7 or thereabouts in any case. Unless sales slump across the business units.

Don't worry. Genting will post best quarter results Q1 2024 in May. Genting Singapore already recognized impairments in Q4 2023 thus increased profit can be seen in Q12024 as increased visa free tourist number. Share price will be well supported at 4.75. Don't take Taurx seriously at this moment

The stock price reaction a bit retxrded. Fri morning still can open at 4.95 after main profit generator GenS Q4 vs Q3 profit down by half.
