GentS made an impairment charge, so exclude impairment its up also. Next Q all GentB will make 500M. I was more worried abt GentM and it performed well.

Hold tight...the visa exemption for Malaysia-China and Singapore-China was implemented in Dec 2023 and 09 Feb2024.. The performance for this quarter (Q1 2024) is anticipated to be robust. No more impairment and bad debts 😅

The thing is boss keen in playing impairment. Who will guarantee there will be no imp. in the next Q. GenS is the main profit contributor to G. also perform like this. Dont forget we have ER. Thats why for G. Biz performance well doesnt mean increment in profit. Thats what I am worry about. 关键不是我们怎么想，而是老板怎么做 if boss wishes to pull down the profit, there would have hundreds ways.

I am sure people in this forum will be happy to learn that IAG (British Airways) made GBP 3b profit increasing by 600% from last year and yet the price fell 3.9% ! Annual profits made up 50% of the value of the business …Shockingly undervalued .We are not alone😀😀. The reason cited, management are very poor in communicating and strategy is also prone to surprises. Sounds very familiar.
