There was a 1 for 2 bonus issue on 13th April. Insas received 200,000,000 free Inari shares on that day taking its holding to 600,000,000 Inari shares.

Insas has share capital of around 600 million shares, cash of around RM600 million, also 600 million Inari shares. Each shareholder entitled to around RM1 and 1 Inari share.

A.On Dividend
The Board has taken note of the shareholders’ comments and will seriously consider paying additional/special dividend and to formulate a formal dividend policy in FY 2018.
B. On Share price.
Dato’ Wong Gian Kui (“DWGK”) commented that the net asset value (“NAV”) of the Company as at 30 June 2017 is RM2.30, and if we take into account the mark to market unrealized gain of Inari shares, the revalued NAV or intrinsic value of the Company would be close to RM3.00.
Dato’ Dr Tan Seng Chuan added that the market sees the intrinsic value of the Company at RM3.00 but the market price is trading at +/-RM0.90. He is of the opinion that share prices and the Company’s performance have no direct relationship and the Directors’ primary responsibility is to make sure the Company runs well and not about making share price perform

LOL... Harapan is surely a new hope for Malaysia. But bad stuff won't just gone away in split second.

For example, 1mdb, the big hole will be dug up and it will surely have some impact on Malaysia, like ringgit. GST abolish will also impact ringgit.

All these will create opportunity to buy, but just not a split second.

INSAS, on the other way, i don't know how it could stay positive earning in coming earning reports. May be have some hidden income, i don't know....

They don't have sufficient regular income generator.

In last quarter, major income is from Other income, which is fair value gain of RM31 million, mainly contributed by INARI.

Coming quarter, it is payback time.
INARI, 29Dec2017 is around 3.4
INARI, 30Mar2018 is around 2.8
-0.6 x 400m = -240m

Hope they do have option to hedge again these.

Inari shares are reflected at cost in Insas accounts, no fair value adjustment. Cost is at around 36 sen per Inari share. Excess of market value over cost of around RM1.70 multiply by 600 million shares are never reported as profit in the accounts. Insas is hiding its fair value gain on Inari.
