A couple of weeks earlier Insas sold 500,000 Inari shares and made a cool one million ringgit gain. Insas still has over 600 million Inari shares.

Still can't confirm it is uptrend. Touch the resistance level and put back. Need to cross the resistance level and stay above it. Stay sideway and observe!

Assume they sell at Rm 2.26, 1mil shares = RM2.26mil, divided by Insas share 693mil, each share only get RM 0.003 or 0.3sen. Cannot really see that in the EPS also, hard to boost the price also, we need leno to pump for us.

Sold so many Inari shares but keep the money in the pocket. Should share out with shareholders as dividend or bonus issue.

Calvin Tan had also actively promoting BjCorp few years ago on the same ground- "value of assets".. but that corp...se remain as good as a dead wood and decaying. I think he is better in writing stories, composing jingles....but his poems not so good.

Bj Corp? Calvin still accumulating. Bj Corp Real Show has not yet started.

The Biggest Show in Bursa will take long time in preparation. Watch TSVT and Tun Dr M

As for values of assets it took long investments of 7 years in a penny stock called PM CORP.

Pm Corp even dropped from 20 sen to a low of 7.5 sen

In the end?

Calvin made Rm200K from Pm Corp the cheap penny stock of value

So better get it straight.

If got a will there is always a way

If sell inari at full value it should get rm2.20 a share

if discounted by 50%

Then rm1.10

Imagine if Insas dispose inari at rm1.10 and give capital distribution of Rm1.10 as cash for insas shareholders

Then all lucky insas share holders will

get back original capital of 90 sen

Plus Free cash of 20 sen

Still got free shares of insas for life. Free for forever

This is what happened to Pm Corp

Pm Corp at 7.5 sen was a bargain

Then one day Pm Corp sold one factory in Woodlands Singapore

And we received 8 sen cash payout

So now we got back out capital of 7.5 sen

Plus .5 sen free cash
Plus free Pm Corp shares for for ever.

Truth is stranger than fiction

Insas will be announcing its 4th quarter results next month together with a full year's results. In the last AGM the BOD said they will seriously consider a special dividend for financial year ended 30/6/18.

bro @thecontrarian, any idea on the discounted sum of parts of insas????

TheContrarian

This conglomerate discount or holding company discount is an economic concept of a situation where the stockmarket values a diversified group of companies at lower than the sum of its parts. In Insas' situation the discount is too deep.

I bought Insas at 65-66 sen in 4 tranches from June to Nov 2016 and sold off all at 1.06 and 1.10 in 2 tranches in June/July 2017, that's a gain 66%. Even received a 1 sen dividend. Sometime this year I started buying back at 80 sen down to 77 sen. Sometimes timing is important to maximize gain rather than buy and hold for forever. Insas has been good to me and will be good to me again.

When you buy something at the bottom you don't have to worry about downside.

Timing is damn important.

But can you predict it consistently. Most can't, and most who do are just lucky.

Maybe you really is got the skill. I try to rely less on that.

Another hidden gem of INSAS' Crown of Investments

INSAS is in Top 30 Share holders of SYF

INSAS has about 80 million shares of SYF

SYF at 30 sen means INSAS has Rm24 Millions Invested in SYF

INSAS HAS SO MANY HIDDEN ASSETS OF VALUE

INSAS IS TRULY OVERFLOWING WITH VALUE UPON COPIOUS VALUE

SO GOOD!!!

It's Ok for Omesti as so many stocks have been dragged down recently. It should recover

Same goes for SYF as its furniture business should recover. Stocks like Pohuat, hevea & Latitute have rebounded

Inari share price has been on the uptrend lately because KWAP and EPF kept mopping up Inari shares. For the first time on 20/7, the combined shareholdings of the two which amounted to 602 million exceeded Insas' holding of 599.9 million. If the buying continues, it would not be surprising if Inari later becomes a government linked company and management and operational control of Inari will fall into the hands of the government. Should this happen, Insas will no longer have justification to treat Inari as an undervalued Associated Company in its accounts and would have to recognize the fair value gain.
