Some other forumer told me that actually Calvin tan is a freelance property agent, that's why he analyses stock just from the prospective of property asset the company holds, but clueless when come to analyse the balance sheet, profit & loss, business prospect, management etc ...
All stocks he recommends are mainly based on NTA higher than share price, that's all !
He even recommend MP Corp & Kbunai (two very risky bankrupt-bound companies) just based on the property asset these companies own !

Agreed, Calvin self claim as Singaporean, but interest in buying low cost house in iskandar (refer to YTLP thread on 14/08/2015 12:13 and blow and talk his past glory history again and slam YTL for TP RM 1, cited long way down bla bla). Ask him to re-look at YTL and its group of companies, all declare MASSIVE dividend, if ever Calvin want YTL at RM 1.00, ask him continue 'dream on' for next 10 year.

Even if you can get at 30 cents you must still be prepared to average down. And you MUST HAVE LONG TERM STAMINA OF AT LEAST 5 TO 10 YEARS.

So Calvin, at least 5~10yrs I get it. But you think the actual value for this stock for short ,mid should be rest at what range. This is only for review,not serious . Long term 3~5 yrs price is still maybe at this leval?

For short term the climate looks very unfavorable

1) VT is Dr M'sproxy. See How VT celebrate Dr.M's birthday in Berjaya Times Sq yearly. Dr M now wants Najib out. So VT's attention will be diverted from BJ Group of Companies.

2) KLSE in a swoon will drag down all counters directly & indirectly.

3) Both China & USA now imploding & contracting. Foreign Funds are still leaving to fight fires back home. Won't be back anytime soon.

So better Keep Cash. BJ Corp might trade range bound with a downside bias

For Longer Term Calvin is bullish on Malaysia & BJ Corp.

How long is long?

If only I know. 5 years? 7 years? or 10 years?

we have not seen significance market correction since Qtr 1 2009...........and many of us have behaved like savvy of investors.......

it's times for behave and exercise self discipline.....after all, I'm just an average investor during big market correction..........at least that's my previous record....

Malaysia stock market - KLSE is one of the best in the world. Semua market drop like no tomorrow (China drop 8%, HK drop more than 1,000 point and Nikkei drop about 800 points) but KLSE drop a bit only. The best stock market in the World. WORLD BEST STOCK MARKET KLSE!

Better stay out like Datuk. If during good times and making profits, the share price cannot go up, what do you think BJcorp price will be when global market is going down? BJcorp should reinvest more with the profits made in FY2015 since the shareholders don't want dividend.

To MyView, nice to hear you again,I thought my words hurt you regarding the shareholders don't want dividend.& let the BJcorp management reinvest. I know what they did is wrong & improper. But they can ignored u & they already count every possibility can happen ,That why NTA is increasing. I also felt nagged at them also unwise due to so many factors count. Hopefully VT still give some suitable angpau to his minority , Otherwise only God & his inner heart wil wretches him until the end and may be after life ..

To MyView, even now price 35c is still very cheap, but since this major shareholder willingly drop the price to unbelievable leval at affordable let q'ty. Let say his thrown 1000k lots at lower 1c , the panic investor also follows ,then they got chance to manipulate since now people afraid to buy. So this major shareholder affordable to let q'ty must keep account. Furthernore beside Calvin point out 3 events, is really up to VT to decide when the price will shoot up ,but the magnitude ?? Secondly why the price will not go lower, Bjcorp really among the best Co, the only thing is judging the best price & keep average low, hold power against time. Only thing I worried now u bought 20c , then after 3 yrs up only RM 1, THE Malaysia CURRENCY value shrink & inflation more more

Agreed Eddysurge. In investment, it is about returns. In shares, return can be in the form of dividends or capital/price gain. We invest in company that makes profit and give dividend ( payout policy ). In good company, the dividend pay out policy is 40% - 55%. BJcorp also receive dividend from their investment. They invest in BJland, BJtoto, BJauto etc. BJcorp also receive dividends from these companies. Then why BJcorp is not paying out those dividends they have received? Something is definitely not right.No wonder the share price keeps going down even declaring huge profits and during the good times. Now bad times for stock narket. So don't expect BJcorp to go up. With this type of management, there is only one direction, that is down. I don't think the management of BJcorp is more stupid than the investors. What I don't unserstand is why institutional investors in BJcorp are not demanding for dividends? Those fund manager also have to pay dividends to their investors.yearly.

For each bidding in sum of RM16000.00, your brokerage fee is RM8.00
plus the clearing fee 0.03% @ RM4.80
and GST RM0.768
than stamp duty RM16.00
total cost RM29.57

buy and sell RM29.57 x 2 = RM59.14

for Bjcorp price at RM0.35, 45000 unit involved.

if up RM0.005, the gain before fee is RM225.00

of course, if down, you are facing the same.

but,

you have the chance to throw at buying price just cost you RM59.14

more like gambling, buy RM1, win RM3.8

you also can put this way,

lower down your investment cost.
