1 sen dividend means BJcorp payout 45mil. For FY2015, BJcorp received about 250mil dividend from its subsidiaries and associates. Why BJcorp is not passing the dividends it received to its shareholders?

kikk, you are the first person here who is interested to question BJcorp board of directors. That is the way to go. When things we see are not right we ask them. They don't really care if the share price fall to 10 sen. More people projected the share price to come down than to go up. Why? Because that is how they see it and they are right.

If you have high a expectation of frequent action happening with this counter, you will be very disappointed and bored. You should have at least a few other counters in your portforlio plus some other activities to keep your body and mind occupied before BJCorp turns out the pleasant surprise that we are waiting for.

Berjaya Corp saw its net profit for the 1QFY16 surge almost sevenfold year-on-year to RM56.1m, from RM8.3m previously, primarily due to a higher share of results from associates under its subsidiaries, and a RM15m disposal gain of a subsidiary. The better financials were also propped up by a RM14.0m gain on the remeasurement of its equity interest in REDtone International. (Financial Daily)

As an investment holding company, selling and buying "furniture" is a common practice.

Or else how to classify as investment company? Right?

If the disposal is more frequent and making profit, means the initial decision to buy the "furniture" is a right move. Short time frame showing excellent decision.

Different industry has their different business style and cycle, just like apple and orange are fruit but they are not the same.

As long as the business decision able to value added to the Company, that is a positive move.

Buying and selling of furniture and making money is good. But BJcorp received rm250mil dividend for 2015 but pay out only RM50mil to its share holders. So why are they not paying out all the dividends they received from their subs and associates companies. BJcorps investment bear fruits (dividends) but our investments in BJcorp bear only small fruits. This is not a good practice. Thats why the share price keep falling year after year even when BJcorp making hefty profits.

MyView, hope the funding not utilized portion in paying the dividend will use for pay off the debt or having new investment. It will help to change the current situation but still need some time for market to digest it.

BJcorp make a profit of more than 800mil or 20sen EPS but gives you 1 sen dividend. What do you think? Do you think they care about investors return. In FY15, BJcorp received dividend of 250mil from its subs and associate companies but passed down to its shareholders nothing. BJcorp keeps all the dividend they received.

Hi guys, received yrs bjcorp report? To my surprised when i read the book , all 99% belong & solid control by VT. Hard to distiguish where the minority investor position & influence? Where is atuk, calvin ,cyphua...Even the jeju & other big projects, future trends or forcast can be determined? Of course i haven't got time to play the CD. How to play or invest? Unknown & so mysterious!

The malaysia and world market is recovering this two day. it can continue this week but not sure long term. last time people say VT is selling. actually he is accumulate as what I monitor. selling is foreign fund. VT get 50% direct and indirect. If have other hiden. what he want to do? privatize? If asset rm1.50. can he privatize at RM0.40 current price? last is who buy 1M and sell 1M share every day? why he control the price? The new AGM they want to share buy back. This will reduce more number of share 10%. may more easy let the price going up.

The market price for this company is RM1600/=, if VT have 80%, privatize also need RM320M/= at RM0.40, is not small amount money, if some one say is not alot for VT, then I can say, VT not interested in our few thousand RM. RM0.01 dividend at current price RM0.40 is 2.5%,

Is correct, Jeju project have negative new, but don't forget Vietnam and Philippines have good new, are we need all good new then invest? In Malaysia, are you feel Toto, Starbuck or Mazda have problem? Where got 100%, unless put into EPF, fix interest.
