I am like you on regional role but unlike you, I am able to see differences rather ampu something which does not work. Kudos to Malaysia for remaining calm and compose in from of the world. This event is unprecedented with be a model for other countries how to handle crisis. Withing weeks already having warm help from so many countries demonstrating how well foreign relationship with other neighbouring countries. Now we know how good Malaysia relationship with US, Australia, China, even Vietnam. If US were in similar position, I doubt Obama will be receiving warm help from others.

I am impress how President Obama made public announcement to make MH370 as "top priority" and Australia making similar effort. This show to us rakyat, that they don't see Malaysia as trouble maker but alliance. I feel very safe knowing this.

I've had my fair share of contribution of income taxes paid to the govt of UK and Australia and it has gone to the abused unemployment welfare system. I'm perfectly alright (just) in Malaysia :-)
