KUALA LUMPUR 31 Dis. - Sambutan Ambang Tahun Baharu 2014 anjuran Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) di Dataran Merdeka terpaksa dihentikan pukul 11.30 malam ini, 30 minit sebelum kemuncaknya berikutan tindakan liar penyokong himpunan guling kerajaan merusuh dan menceroboh kawasan pentas utama.

Pengacara majlis terpaksa mengumumkan pembatalan sambutan itu termasuk acara konsert dan pertunjukan bunga api, hanya 30 minit sebelum detik 12 tengah malam menandakan bermulanya 1 Januari 2014, berikutan perusuh membaling objek ke arah pentas utama.

Ketika itu, Orkestra DBKL sedang mengadakan persembahan apabila tiba-tiba perusuh berbaju hitam menyerbu pentas utama.

Selain itu, beberapa kenamaan termasuk Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib dilihat telah meninggalkan tempat duduk masing-masing.

Orang awam yang hadir semata-mata ingin menyaksikan persembahan nyanyian dan pertunjukan bunga api juga terpaksa memilih untuk pulang awal untuk mengelakkan sebarang kemungkinan. -

Ketika berita ini ditulis pukul 11.35 malam, para perusuh berbaju hitam masih meluru ke arah pentas utama, membaling objek dan menjerit-jerit menghina kerajaan.

Antara artis yang sempat membuat persembahan ialah Amy Search, Zainal Abidin, Jay Jay, Aweera dan Najwa Latif.

马联合工业表现失色
二零一三年十二月三十一日 晚上十一时四十二分
（吉隆坡31日讯）马联合工业有限公司（MUIIND，3891，贸易服务组）公布，在截至2013年9月30日止第3财季，仅取得2900万令吉的税前利润，较去年同期的1亿3930万令吉大幅下跌。
而营业额也从前期的2亿460万令吉退至1亿6290万令吉。
另一方面，该集团在首9个月期间，只录得4130万令吉的税前利润，较去年同期的1亿5120万令吉暴减。
至于营业额由6亿3500万令吉滑落至4亿7020万令吉。
它致函大马交易所表示，营业额下降，主要是旗下的酒店、食品和糖果业务欠佳所致。
该集团对于今年的表现持谨慎乐观态度，并会继续寻求发掘商机，以加强财务状况。

Kellogg Co. from USA Is Setting Up A Manufacturing Plant in Bandar Enstek in Negri Seremban. This will provide 300 quality jobs for people nearby - one of them is Bandar Springfield owned by MUI Group. MUI Group Has Over 1,000 Acres of Prime Land Here.

Again the Market has chased Brem to 10 times the price of MUI Berhad. Same For Perak Corp's lands & Keck Seng's lands. The Mispricing of MUI Berhad makes it look even cheaper and cheaper by the day as development is nearer and nearer to Bandar Springfield.

Can asset rich and Huge debts strike a balance in Mui and PMcorp plus all the related subsidiaries? Some said after the settling of all debts , there are still surpluses which measured more than the present graham net net valuation . Others said otherwise like the normal comments ... Go to Holland etc . As small investors , we really hope the guys in the forum can give a definite answer and not doing campaigns after campaigns where they served no good to all except good for the lurking sharks always on the prowl .

One Mui Icul whether A, B or C were all converted into One MUI Berhad Share with equal rights on December 2012. As to PM Corp still owning how many MUI Berhad Shares only MUI Group Management knows. So ask in PM Corp June AGM 2014.

Corus Hotel KL has only 388 deluxe rooms, suites and cabanas which translates to 1.64% of the total room for 3 to 5 star hotel.
Corus Paradise Resort Port Dickson has 200 en-suite bedrooms, There are about 30 hotels in PD with average room of 250 each = about 7,500 rooms and Corus Paradise contributes 2.7%.

So the Corus is a tiny dot/pixel in the BIG Picture.
